DM did not hit Kanji until Kanji went after Virat....thats when DM lost it and hit Kanji....I think the incitement was that Kanji being an employee of his was insulting his brother-in-law in his home.....he was bound to lose his temper.....maybe hitting Kanji was not the right reaction but obviously he couldn't let an employee of his get away with going after his brother-in-law's neck and insulting him in front of his eyes. I think if Kanji hadn't reacted violently first by going after Virat's collar/neck, DM wouldn't have hit him....and the situation wouldn't have deteriorated to such an extent.....DM might have even listened to Kanji's side of the story.
