Asiya is an innocent looking girl, but the role of Santo she plays in Bandini, is of a much more mature, older woman. Hence, the zari sarees and heavy jewellery. But we suggest Asiya try out clothes that suit her age like funky one-piece dresses or trendy Punjabi suits.

My sentiment exactly. Santo only wears heavy jewlry when their is a function, I like the way she dresses. Santo was dressing the same way in the village except now her clothes look more expensive.

I wonder whoever came up with this idea of makeover for these characters - imagine all these village belles in western outfits - would give the other characters in their show a fit 😆😆

I think you guys misunderstood the article. I think the article is referring to the real life Asiya and what she should wear and carry off being a young girl of her age.

Maybe I did but then I don't understand the point of the article😕, I mean I am sure these actresses dress quite differently in their real life than on the show - probably similar to what was suggested as their makeover - which would mean they don't need a makeover😊
