FITNESS MANTRA'I am usually an upbeat person'Ronit Roy, Actor My workout regime: I enjoy doing martial arts as a form of exercise. I practice various different styles of martial arts and am always ready to learn new forms. In the past, I have also experimented with dancing to keep fit. Taking part in a dance reality show really changed my approach to dance and has made me much more agile. Besides this, I run for an hour everyday and regularly do pranayama and other breathing exercises. If possible, I also try and fit weight training in my schedule. Diet: I haven't been following my diet recently because I have been on holiday but I am going to start on a new diet very soon. My Happiness Quotient: I am actually a happy person in general. My mood is almost never down and I am usually an upbeat person so I don't really need any indulgence to make me happy. My idea Of Relaxation: My idea of relaxation is catching up on sleep and, of course, spending time with my family. My wife and two daughters are an important part of my life and I try to make up for lost time. I love taking frequent short trips to Europe to unwind. The thought of hanging out and chilling with my wife in a small cafe in Europe is relaxing in itself ! Besides that I also love sleeping and I think that there is no better way to soothe your senses than taking a short nap. As told to AMISHI SHAH Bombay Times, 21 April 2009 |
