How long can we take it?

So, after watching today's episode I realized that we all are going to be tested to our limits....the very end of our nerves. What I mean is, watching Santu get tortured like this, I have a feeling it is going to go on for a while..

My prediction is about a month. I hope to god that I am wrong

I mean, honestly, as viewers, how long can we really take Santu being treated like some stray animal.

OH, and I must mention, I love DM's mother and father in law, but I mean, shouldn't they be happy for him that he has moved on. I mean, you daughter has been dead, if you treat him like your son, don't you want your son to get another chance at happiness? If anything, the only reason they should be angry is because they hid the truth from him, not because he got re-married. I just find that very selfish on their parts. They are the elders, they should not limit him so much that he feel guilty. I also hope that they are civil towards Santu.

Yeah you are right my heart cries for Santu. She is been treated like a piece of trash. I hope she never forgives DM, until he is on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness. At times like this I am very rudely reminded it an Ekta show, come on mercy sakes it has been two weeks and she is still roaming around like a lost child. No food, water, or sleep for a whole day is not the worst of it, she is under so much emotional stress imagine how utterly exhausted she must feel, and how distraught it must to feel to know her life is ruined and no one to comfort her.

You are right about sasur and saas, I mean come on what are they pissed about that their daughter has been replaced. I hope not if they love DM like their son then they might consider he needs a companion, no matter how much DM insists he is happy with Subhadra's memory one does get lonely. They cant be selfish in their long lost daughter.

I think DM's saas and sasur's side of the story has not been shown yet. So i guess its premature to get into conclusions about them. Lets wait and see what they have to offer.

As for Santo's plight, i sympathise her but as for others treating her whatelse can be expected in a marriage of compulsion and confusion.

It takes time though.. will it be long ? Yes i guess as one cannot expect people to change in a split of second.

Personally i feel thats where the drama will get more interesting and watchable.

Lets hope for some real entertainemt...

what's hard to watch is to see a fat, bit, powerful, evil lady tormenting a small, innocent, lost girl. the drama would have been even more enjoyable without such a vulgalry-evil presence.
that's always been the problem with balaji's shows - the all powerful, unrealistic evils - and they are just not willing to let them go. honestly, this situation is complicated enough without the big, fat vamp.

Dont worry Tashmin,

Well obviously she's not going to be sad throughout but like RR mentioned in his previous interview, Bandini is all about post-marriage blues .. and it's just that the 'blues' are going to be a lil different from the usual ones that the brides go through ..

After DM confronts his in-laws after Monday's episode, I am sure Baa-bapuji will not let Taru-ben ill-treat her .. just hang on .. it's just one day that has been showed for such a long time .. because it's the turning point!

I don't think DM's in-law's or for that matter even his sister-in-law are upset over the fact that he remarried. What has hurt them is the manner in which he has gone about doing this...and that too with a girl who is almost his daughter's age.

Ba-Bapuji alongwith Surkeha are going to be the first one's to support Santu and give her the rights of a wife in DM's life!

Regarding Santu's torture...I wouldn't read much into it! If they don't show her suffering (and not just at the hands of her husband) how will they show the growth of her character and DM's emotional connection with her?

Agar, Pandav ko pehle hi Hastinapur milgaya, toh Mahabharat kaise hogi?

Totally right Soapie ,

They have to show some hardships in her life and I guess people should not expect THIS phase to go away so soon .. because this forms the crux of the show ..

Cant wait till Surekha comes to meet her mom and dad and they get together to help Santo adjust ..
