I have a suspicious feeling that is the case. Clue is we have been told he is from a very rich family and upper caste. Imagine the fireworks this will cause, when DM finds out that Viraat son is in love with his wife. DM might not love her but he will treat her like a possession so he wont be pleased. Eventhough the feelings are one sided Sashank really loves Santu, but Santu just seems to see him as a friend because he makes her laugh and he is nice guy. Poor Sashank when he finds Santo married on his return and that too an old dude he will be heartbroken.
