Ufffff....this editing without making sure the flow makes sense is...😡

yeah i found tht error toooo...... maybe the editor didn't have proper sleep or maybe his wife told him to get bhajii frm the mkt.... Ladies please do not feel offended....

It does seem like DM was in a bit of a Catch-22 situation. If he wasn't harsh on his son, he would lose all credibility in front of the villagers, they would lose faith in his authority, and we'd be comparing him to Dhritarashtra instead of calling him merciless. I don't think he could have done much else, especially since the villagers looked like they were about to riot. Even though he's a father, he's also the head of the village, and he has a responsibility towards them as well. Just as Taruben made personal sacrifices for the family, DM's going to have to make personal sacrifices for the village.
Of course, there's always the chance that whatever Hiten was going to say when he was interrupted will somehow come out later. Maybe Santu ends up saving the day by finding it out and telling DM. Call it wishful thinking, but I definitely want to see more of DM softening up towards Santu.

What a power packed fabulous episode this was with awesome performances by Ronit Roy and Mrunal.

Mru, Sukhi and Sanam you guys have disected the episode and DM-Hiten points of view every which way and have come up with some wonderful observations. Today we all felt for Hiten and think DM went too far in doing justice. I was very upset at DM for not letting Hiten complete his sentence and pronouncing him guilty.

Once again, RR's performance was mindblowing - his eyes, portraying the feelings and emotions of a father but his expressions and voice showing him in command as Maalik of Dharampur - executing both these at the same time in one scene and that too flawlessly.

I cannot blame Mongi for what she did. She is 8 years old and that is how she behaved. She is not expected to understand the larger consequences of her actions or Santu's relationships. She is mourning for her Mawdi - she was an eye witness to the fact that the rope was put around Manjir's neck to pull the car out of the ditch.

DM the Malik won and DM the father lost today. Hiten helped the father lose - to prove a point. His smirk said it all. It was like he wanted to see DM the tather fall and did his part.

A superbly directed episode - RR's debut as a director. The panchayat scene was very, very well done. Mrunal, Aasiya, Prerna and all the other newbies in the field of acting are so lucky to have this opportunity. I am sure they will learn a lot and hope they make the most of what they are getting.

And finally, I am trying to relate the events with the help of some symbolism. In yesterday's episode when DM gets the ghee in the diya and passes it on to Santu with the mantra playing in the back ground they show their hands passing the diya with Hiten' face in the middle looking at them. The symbolism I see is that Hiten is DM's eldest son and hence the ghar ka chiraag. With DM giving the diya and Santu taking it is like he is giving it to her to look after/protect it. Hope I have made sense.

Hence, it will be Santu saving and protecting Hiten. Just how she does it remains to be seen.

Did not get to see the preview for Monday - it was chopped off in the online video.

Even if his intention was to have the cow pull the car out, he probably didn't go through with it. He isn't that cruel. So this gray area should have been explained. But alas, it wasn't.

Hey hi !

Long time😃

Anyways,

Hiten was a little silly when he attempted pulling out his car with the help of a cow .. so that was his
first mistake - his second mistake being that he
was unable to keep his ego out of the question and
really clarify what he had done .. I really think he should
have spoken up the second time that DM asked him
to come clean ..

What I think is that Hiten would have spoken in his defence
if the Panch had been someone other than DM .. suddenly
when DM interrupted him, I felt like Hiten saw his father more than the malik ..
and he just could not speak ...

Welcome to the forum !

DM was in the worst situation one can ever imagine .. imagine holding the most power
in a stiuation .. and then having to justify it by being fair and using the power
on one of your loved ones !

My heart really went out to him .. I dont think what he did was senseless..
even if he was not Hiten's dad, he definitely WAS the malik that night ..
the sarpanch .. and because logically Hiten provided him nothing to do otherwise,
the verdict was bound to go against him .. if not him, the other four panchs would have
definitely given the same verdict ..

Anyways - I share the same wishful thinking ..
This track has mighty potential to change the way things stand b/w DM and Santo
and yes hopefully , ignite some sparks😳

Hema !

What a wonderful observation .. I never thought of it that way and now
that I do - you are absolutely right .. it was like DM was endowing
Santo with something .. something which she has a right on
but has been deprived of .. and this time she has an official say in the
case because the villagers AND DM have agreed to have
Santo assist DM in his investigations ..

Dont think DM will be in any investigation mode right now .. it's all
going to be upon Santo .. they have not shown the family return
from the panchayat venue .. so I think tehre is still some drama left ..
maybe Baa and Bapuji threaten to cut off ties with DM .. maybe everyone leaves him alone
and the only person left standing with him is Santo .. who is at a loss
of words .. hope she can see through his facade .. see the broken father ..
and help him out ASAP ..

I finally saw the epi (espcially the part where Hiten speaks and DM doles out the punishment)

It's very clear Hiten did not do it. When he validates that yes what Mongi said is true. He says he TRIED to use the cow to get his car out of the ditch BUT... (and DM stops him here).

So, the key is he TRIED but did not succeed. so he let the cow go. The bracelet prolly just fell when he was trying hard. My theory is Jaggu or Virat's hired gundas came by and helped push the car out. Once Hiten was on his way, they took care of Mawdi to blame it on him!

Also noticed how DMs lips quivered as he paused before passing the phansi sentence. Awwww.....😭 and that single tear that could not be controlled as Hiten walked away.

Any thing and everything is romanticized....by soap watchers... I am amazed..no one asks any questions..no wonder Ekta rules the roost.
