some thing made me think a bit
when narayani went to get water
vr too rushed to get the water
they both tried to carry the bucket
it fell suddenly
but the rush i saw in vr to get water
i felt somehow he does not want any harm to come to darpan
i mean somewhere in his mind he has a soft corner for her
and that is without any reason or purpose
even when ganesh was coming with the cloth for darpan
and when he took darpan in the cloth
vr was really relieved it was there on his face
later when darpan told that she has set the fire
still he was worried only for her and thanked god for her safety
does any one feel that some how he really has a soft corner for her ?
it is as he is childless and he likes her as his own child ?

Yes i believe he has a soft corner fr darpan. But yes its also a fact tht he is keeping darpan wid him only fr his selfish motives. Its very well known tht more thn a child lover he is selfish fr himself...About having a child i believe he knows raghav is his child. Its just tht he can keep him infront of his eyes b t cannot give raghav the lov of a father.

VR is a complex creature . He's like an onion with many layers that you have to peel back, layer by layer. Who knows what's going on inside that man. I think he really cares for Darpan but at the same time as Sonali said, he's keeping her for selfish motives.

You can also notice tht he feels the guilt of wht he did with narayani..Same guilt he had aftr shooting prabha...He is a complex human to understand

Yep, that is what is happening. VR cares for Darpan in some ways, but is also using her because he thinks Mahesh will be back someday and then by that time Darpan will side with VR and tell Mahesh VR did this... and this...
