TOI: Ganesh likes neater Aniruddh Dave

Aniruddh Dave will soon be seen sporting a new look for Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Bandhan. In Bandhan, the Jaipur boy portrays the character of Dev Pratap Patil, who is now coming out of jail and gets a fresh look. Aniruddh tells us, "The new look is more urban, fresh, stylish and colourful. When your look changes on screen, your entire body language changes with it. It's now high on energy and performance oriented."

Aniruddh adds, "It was Siddharth's idea to make my character clean shaven, since he is coming out of jail. Earlier, he was rowdy and now the shade of the character is changing. I had been sporting a stubble since the last two months, and personally I like to be clean shaven, so it was a relief.

Moreover, Ganesh, the elephant, seems to be friendlier to people who look neat. He seems to be more affectionate towards me now. It may sound funny, but it's true." Aniruddh, who loves pets, is enjoying working on the show since it is about the bond between a young girl and a baby elephant. "I am a big pet lover. One can learn a lot from them. As an actor, I observe them and learn from them. It may sound weird, but whenever I am shooting I like to be surrounded by animals, like cats and dogs. If and when I become a millionaire, I will open a veterinary centre for them," says the actor.
