TC Article: 3 New Entries in Bandhan Soon

Meenal Pendse to play Sudesh
Berry's wife in Zee TV's Bandhan;
Piyali Munshi too roped in.

by Swastik Productions will soon
see the entry of its female
antagonist in Vishwas Rao's
(Sudesh Berry) wife, Meethi.
Well, if you readers feel that
Vishwas Rao is a tyrant in his own
right, then you need to wait to
watch his better half in action. The
lady will be a vicious, loud and
aggressive character, and even a
man like Vishwas Rao will get
tamed by her.
Playing this challenging character
will be actress Meenal Pendse, who
was last seen in Swastik
Productions'Amita Ka Amit.
A reliable source tells us, "Meenal
will play the role of Meethi, wife to
Vishwas Rao.
But she will be a complete
contrast to her name, and there
will be nothing in her attitude that
will be meethi'."
Along with Meenal, Vishwas Rao's
brother and his wife will also stage
an entry. Piyali Munshi who
essayed the lead role in Colors'Jai
Jag Janani Maa Durga will be the
wife of Rudra Pratap Rao, the
middle brother of Vishwas Rao.
The actor to play Rudra Pratap is
yet to be casted.
When contacted, Meenal told us,
"Yes, I am entering Bandhan after
a 9-10 months break from TV. I am
a professional tarot card reader
and when I am not busy with my
TV projects, I am busy doing that. I
was last seen in Amita Ka Amit,
and to get to work with Swastik
Productions again is an honour. As
for my role, I cannot divulge
anything now."
When contacted, Piyali told us, "I
have given my audition for
Bandhan, but there is no clarity
yet."
We hear that both Meenal and
Piyali will start shoot in couple of
days.

How much antagonists will they introduce into the show?

In their aim to make it interesting, they don't want to introduce so many negatives characters and take away the whole essence of the show.

His middle brother and wife? Are they negative too? I'm guessing that Sanju, Raghav and Pinky are their children.

Yeah Many evil characters in a single family. Its a game of good vs Evil. Even mahesh's family is a big pillar of support to him. Its getting interesting and i want the makers to keep the same pace of the show like its now, neither too fast nor too slow episodes. I feel Sanju is Vishwasrao's Son n raghav n Pinky r Rudra's Kids and about dev to unki future wife to mai hun...hehehehe
