Yeah u have a Strong point chhavi but i believe there are 2 possibilities...
1) Its Diwali where everything happens fr gud. Mahesh may be taken to Police station bt only fr inquiry n aftr tht he will return home.However mahesh n prabha won't b happy but will be smiling for darpan n ganesh who will be unknown to whatever happened. But yes the enquiry will go on mahesh till he is proved innocent.

2) This dress he wore may be because of the diwali promo they did wid othr zee shows.

However i feel it will be 1st point.

but I think show me diwali hogi again V-rao doing some big drama n stop police coz he is very honest person😡 ..so darpan aur prabha ke diwali sad na ho Mahesh home me rahega..

coz this pic...so i think Diwali day Mahesh stay at Home.
