They really should have got the police involved, keeping it amongst themselves didn't help, it just encouraged Rahul to keep doing it knowing they won't do anything in fear of being shamed. It would have been difficult for a while but it would have been resolved. I wish people would get past the whole honour and feeling embarrassment as it is only momentary. No one should put up with abuse. Domestic abuse relationships are very dangerous, it's a cycle of being nice and nasty to the victim, which makes them confused whether to leave or stay in the relationship, some after leave end up going back thinking things will change.

@vijaya same here. Had been reading articles on it.

Rahul Raj Singh previously married or not, but going the various statements given by everyone who knew Pratyusha, its pretty clear that her BF was abusive & he was the one managing her finances and using her money.
Ain't boyfriend being abusive & dominating should have been enough for any other girl to move out of the relationship instead of planning to being a wedded wife to such guy especially when the girl was more known & worthy than the guy as far as social environment is concerned?

Moreover everyone from her friends to family knew about him being a torturous BF, So why they didn't acted upon it, or If they warned her against this relationship why she didn't pay heed to them for so long instead of putting up a brave front & suffering at the hands of such guy so much so that apparently she had cut her ties with everyone who suggested her against Rahul.
As per her previous maid, even she suggested her to break the relationship & honestly i don't buy her excuse of not breaking it bcoz of "broken relationship = bringing shame to family".

Lastly , She was the one who had upper hand in this relationship & he was just a Boyfriend not a husband, So at the age of media why she hadn't exposed her boyfriend ever instead of taking such a drastic step with her life or becoming a victim of his foul play? If i remember correctly, earlier she had filed an FIR against her previous BF for some( & probably same) reasons & she broke up with him, then what stopped her to do the same this time ?

The way media & her friends are taking this case after her death, they would have done the same had she exposed Rahul within time...The only difference being she would have been alive to narrate her story & continue with her life unlike now where all sorts of people are coming to give their opinions , facts, & fictions on her behalf.

A lot of things do not add up. Small town girls do not enter into live-in relationships and the small town parents certainly do not approve such things. Small town girls will go for marriage instead of live-in and the parents also will not leave the girl with a boy who is not her husband.

Yes, a small town girl will suffer silently in an abusive marriage - for fear of the stigma attached with divorce - but here it was a live-in relationship certainly with the consent of both the partners.

All these articles of the so-called well-wishers are posted by the media.

I would like to ask these people where were they and what did they do when she was going through the hell?

Why are they surfacing now when everything is over? Is it because they are getting paid for it ?

These witnesses should open their mouth only before the police not before media if they are really genuine.

This dangerous trend , live in relationships , selfies and believing a man who abused her continuously till the end , where are we going ?

Parents are equally responsible for her death .

But unfortunately the mother was punished most by fate for letting her kid to live with a vulture till the end . There must be something in his hand to threaten her ,to defame her image . Very unfortunate , young girls beware of butchers and vultures .

Be confident and face the consequences bravely like Kangana .

Don't know what happened behind the curtain , but praise her guts for saying , " do what ever you want to do , I respect my body and my body needs " --

Still he is in hospital , enjoying the AC comfort with her money .

I happened to read one article published by the Police on the day Pratyusha's parents arrived.

In their statement, the parents stated that they are not expecting any foul play in this suicide case. They also said they do not suspect she might have been killed by Rahul.

This shows the parents were actually unaware of the happenings between the couple.

They told the media a different story after they were briefed by the TV industry so-called friends.

Let us see what happens in the court.

he is the reason for her death, she was so short how did she managed to tie the dupatta in ceiling fan.

She Used To Borrow Money From Me, Claims Pratyusha Banerjee's Maid!

Her family couldn't even mourn TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee's deathproperly and her death became a platform for several so-called celebs and her close friends' to make some ugly confessions about Pratyusha's life, her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh and her financial status. While some reports claimed that Rahul was a playboy and had multiple affairs, the investigation to find the truth behind Pratyusha's death is still on.

Another person who is out in media with her set of confessions is Pratyusha's maid Renu Sinha.

In series of confessions made by her, here's what Pratyusha's maid Renu Singh said. Renu revealed that even when Pratyusha was financially sound, she used to frequently borrow money from her for cab and medicines since Rahul was handling her finances.

Sinha worked at Pratyusha's house for almost three months and she said:

"At odd hours in the night, I used to hear raised voices from the couple's room. I wanted to rescue Pratyusha but didn't know if it was right to interfere in a private matter between them. Whenever Rahul left home, I would coax Pratyusha into telling me everything. She spoke of Rahul accusing her of having an affair with her former boyfriend."

Renu revealed that reports of Rahul's ex-girlfriend gate crashing their house and creating unnecessary troubles were true. According to Renu, Pratyusha never wanted to break up with Rahul because it would have left a negative impact on her family. She often used to see bruise marks on Pratyusha's body every now and then.
