The concept sounds good for now.
I am happy that choti Anandi is not a balika vadhu living in her sasural but instead has her gang of friends around her.

The choti Anandi of Balika vadhu was rather more popular with adults than kids because hers was a sympathy generating role, but in the animated show if the kid is bubbly and not a cry baby, then she might appeal to kids.

Good luck to the makers.

Choti Anandi who is a Balika Vadhu was also quite popular with the kids from what I have seen.
My niece and nephew used to watch it with great interest when Anandi was a kid. Post leap we had to stop them from watching the show because it became too heavy for them. But still they are fond of Anandi.

Kids also connected with Choti Anandi the Balika Vadhu because of the way she handled the challenges that life has thrown at her.I think BV writing was at it's best at that time.
Anandi the child was trapped in a situation which she didn't even understand but kids could identify with her longings and emotions.

It would be interesting to see Khazan and Bhago's Anandi and what her life would have been like if she hadn't become a Balika Vadhu.

From the brief it looks like a prequel to Balika Vadhu story.I'll definitely give this show a try.

When BV's little Anandi was on air, 2 girls in my neighbourhood were just about her age. A 6 year old and a nine year old. They used to enjoy cute and funny scenes of little JaAn and also liked Anandi.
They used to watch the show with their mom who was a regular viewer of BV. However, I clearly remember they started finding Anandi's plight a little boring eventually. Especially during and after the Mahaveer Singh saga. They would prefer less heavy and less intense scenes, even though they didn't mind emotional story lines.

So I don't think all kids connected to BV's little Anandi beyond a point.

If Choti Anandi is mainly designed for kids, I am sure the intensity of her plight will also be a controlled one.

As a viewer myself, I thoroughly enjoyed that phase of BV's little Anandi upto Anandi's marriage with Shiv. But despite that I would not want to see an animated story on a child character with that kind of intensity. So I am glad to know that this Choti Anandi will have a bubbly character even though the backdrop is that BV.

Will give it a shot.
