Overwhelming a small girl with huge gifts. Modern dresses, gold jewellery and now a huge teddy bear. I dont have a problem with that teddy bear except that it is as tall as Akheraj. The more they try to give gifts, the more Mangala wil be pissed off. That school uniform should have been the first gift. Nimboli looked cute and elegant in it. They should stop giving gifts, otherwise Nimboli will start expecting new gifts every second day!

Shivam getting neglected and he does not know why. Why to keep him in the dark? Half the people know the truth. More than half. Now anandi has to face it. She lost Nandini not due to social work but because she failed to take basic precaution inspite of advice. If Nimboli is sharp enough, she will also dwell on that aspect. Why to give so much weightage to Mangala? If Mangala wish to be relocated to Jhalra with Nimboli, will that wish be granted? To what extent anandi will go to please and displease Mangala?

Mangala should have been Jhalra giving support to Kamli and Urmi. Without her, the Jhalra house looks like an empty shell.

Mangala's complete U turn is inexplicable. She was not averse to Nimboli getting educated while in Jhalra.
To extend the story, to make Nimboli confused? Or to create a cold war?

I really like your thoughts.

The current story is quite full of illogical acts and lacks flaw and consistency.

Why is that way, no idea, but it is definitely not impressive. It is too boring.

i think nimboli is trap between two mothers , both the mothers having different ideologies and nimboli is confused whom she should follow.

I feel right now Anandi and company using formula give gifts , impress nimboli and maker her act according to their wish. What ever nimbol is doing not because she is interested in that but because of those gifts. So still Anandi is not able to take full hold of nimboli.

On the other hand mangala mother feels let nimboli be uneducated otherwise she will start using brain and i will loose her so doesnt want any progress in her life , she should be with me. so she tries her tricks and nimboli take her step back.

And what cvs r doing they r still not finding path but running around same track. Anandi telling something to nimboli , nimboli decide to do that and tells second mother and she changes her mind so again nimboli back to square.

Now i wish Either cvs should show mangala true face to anandi and company so that they will get hint or second is cvs should show nimboli becoming so strong that she start arguing with mangala and refuse to listen to her. Start taking her own decision.

I personally feel mangala should realise nimboli is not everything, she can go to jhalara and can become head of family , she can come and meet nimboli anytime. now she should also find life , there r many more things she can do. Personally i dont want mangala character for long run,

Jewellry was given to that child on two occasions

Once during Diwali which is a festive season where gifts are given

Second it was during Chhatpooja time.

Talking about jewellry even Harki gave some trinkets at the time of Kamili's wedding.

So the jeweelry went with occasion.

Buying modern dresses for Nandini is part and parcel of Anandi exploring the child's mind.More than wanting the child towear the dresses she wanted to know how she feels about those dresses.

Teddy bear is fine

Education - Mangala is indifferent towards education.For her it doesn't matter whether the child gets educated or not. If the child wants to go to school it's fine if the child doesn't want to go to school even that is fine by her. When they found that the child lied about attending school they punished her fro lying and forgot about schooling.Had she been interested in getting the child educated she would have found out why the child didn't want to go to school at that time itself.

Through Mangala and Anandi they are showing two different sides of a mother. One mother who is concerned about the child's life and future empowering the child in such a way that the child will grow up o be a human being who can handle life as it comes

While the other mother is just concerned about having the child close to her not thinking about child's future. For the sake of happy moments spent with the child she is ready to sacrifice the child's future.

For another woman yes she wants her daughter with her but what is more important is her daughter get a good life and more bent laying foundation for that.

For her that is a priority over wondering about the intentions of a woman who calls herself the child's mother.

Through the interactions between the two women - the importance of educating a girl child making the child self sufficient and preparing her to take on the challenges that life has in store for the child are being brought out.

Starting with which is a better way of self defence carrying a knife or learning how to defend oneself without use of weapons ?

What shouldone do if the child is not interested in going to school? Give up or force the child to attend the school or try to figure out what the child's problem is?

All these things will not become obvious unless there is a dialogue.

The child is given a choice between Mangala's ways and Anandin's ways

The child herself - she has seen only one world and that is Mangala's world.

She stepped into a world which Mangala herself is unfamiliar with and weary of.

She wants to try out the new world which Anandi has to offer but wants Mangala's approval because she only knows Mangala.

So the child takes one step forward towards Anandi's world and pulled back by Mangala who is not just insecure about Anandi but unsure about Anandi's world.

It is a balancing act for the kid.

Initially it was understandable when she couldn't trace Mangala and Nandini she told him that his sister is yet to be found.

But now she told Jhalra people that Nimboli is her daughter the court knows and everyone knows except Nandini and Shivam

At least now she should take Shivam into confidence and tell him about his sister.

But I guess all this will happen around the twins' birthday time - 26th Jan.

Understanding Mangala's attachment with the child and child's complete trust in Mangala is essential but she should put her foot down about spending time with the child.She can't let Mangala dictate how much time she should spend with her own daughter.

The child was lost and became of victim of child marriage when her mother was rescuing another child. Thta is what Anandi believes.She was trying to help someone when she lost her child.She wasn't there to party.

Social activist child became a victim of social evil - This is the end result.

People can argue and hang Anandi or tie her up to a pole and set her on fire or stone her. This is what Anandi believes.

Mangala has not taken a U turn. It was always clear Nimboli over others like Kamili and Urmi her own interests over Nimboli's secure future and happiness.The child is a teddy bear for her and not a daughter.

Very good points in all the posts.. I have one view - motherhood is not a popularity contest..whether my saying/ doing something will be accepted or the child will be angry or happy is not the point.. If it has to be told, it has to be... Anandi waiting for the day when Nimboli will accept her and her fear of rejection is going on for too long. As a mother she has to say and face the consequence and handle the child's reactions..no mother will just be seeing rahu kaalam yama gandam for sharing something so important
