BV knows how to survive successfully . The rule is reinventing with good actors.

When Toral came as a replacement, there was tremendous uproar and protest. And the protests slowly evaporated when Shiv came on the scene with author backed role and his own contribution.
And toral was accepted as Shiv's wife and now for herself.

When Shiv died, a pall of gloom descended understandably. And Akhiraj, a strong actor, came to the rescue. He is the anti thesis and anti hero. But he and his family which includes Nimboli started to capture our collective imaginations. BV is back with a bang.

There are so many sub stories unfolding without upsetting the main theme.

No serial can survive without a good story, equally good direction, editing and acting.

Toral came in as a replacement when Anandi is about to begin her married life with Shiv.

Most of the viewers r watching for anandi-nimboli reunion, cvs knows this so they will not unite anandi and nimboli soon.

I have a different take on this whole thing. Sorry if the post sounds off topic.

I don't think Shiv the character was helping Toral in any way to get established in people's eyes as Shiv's wife.Shiv was always in the picture the moment he entered.He didn't come suddenly and got importance.Rather I feel they concentrated on Jagya's life more at that time and Toral mostly had to get into Singh's life and slowly people got used to her.They stopped doing much about Anandi's character for reasons they know better.Toral has added her audiences but the fact is Pratyusha's audiences left with broken heart.The frustration fans feel might seem like immaturity for many but they show it because once they loved the show and its characters.

You can't bring the people who loved Pratyusha as Anandi to watch the show anymore.Same goes with Shiv and Sid's fans.Then there was Sriti for whom people used to watch the show.Not talking about the fans who watch the show for overall story.They will watch the show even if Anandi,Jagya,Dadisa,Ganga die.

Akhiraj didn't fill in Shiv's void.People would have get interested the same way if Shiv would have been there.I feel Shiv's presence could have made it more interesting.But as Gajra Ji said Sid quit the show on his own so no point of mentioning it.

Lastly I want to say when I saw a one month old character Gopal acted so awesomely as an eunuch,especially mentioning the interaction between him and the guard when he asked he will need 500 to see the other one's face then I feel they can do much better if they handle the characters and actors respectfully.Its a show which deserves to be on the top position even after 7 years but unfortunately only because of their certain ways of handling,it couldn't happen.But I will not deny that I am happy that its the show which watched all the shows climbing the charts and then the downfall of the same shows but kept its position on top ten.

People moves on especially the core audiences.And that has exactly happened here.Akhiraj and co have added new audiences or might keep the interest of core audiences but nothing can replace the void of all these actors and characters has made.Some has gone on their own but the fact is some has left because they were not treated well.A show needs good story but it also needs actors also.I feel it would have been in top 3 even if they doesn't care about TRPs only if they would have concentrated on important things other than showing unnecessary things.

i think it is a phase in bv where cvs r trying to shift focus from badi haveli to jhalara.

But ever since Anandi's story moved to Udaipur his character assumed it's own identity with his own equations his family how he reacts when something happens to his family and also how he showed a different world to Anandi.Through her life with him she learnt what a husband should be like and how married life should be.He valued his wife because he knew what all she let behind to be with him.He respected her as a human being her commitment to Singhs and he was willing to put the world at her feet in return for a small slice of her time affection and energy.😊

Now comes Akheraj who is a complete anti thesis of Shiv and every thing that Anandi stands up against.

Anandi the modern woman who is living life on her own terms a single educated woman who believes women should be empowered to make their lives better

Akheraj who derives power from bullying women and helpless people believes that women should be inside the bedroom and kitchen

The story maybe good but a bad actor spoils it. while a good actor covers up a bad story by his acting and screen presence.
