Ratan Singh underwent true transformation in prison.

After he realised what his son could grow up into, in his company, he loved his son so much that he gave up any claims on him.

Ganga and Jagya too forgave him truly, and offered him full visiting rights. But he did not want his past evil deeds to shadow his son's future...

Looks like his father died in the last few years and Ratan Singh is dying from some terminal illness.

His mother is widowed and taking care of her dying son. Her evil deeds too caught up with her.

And all these years Ratan kept his promise. He repented. Kept himself away from Mannu when he need not have done so.

Even now he would have died with a desire of meeting his son buried deep in his heart, had this chance encounter not happened.

Neither he nor his mom would have gone to BH by themselves. Not because they couldn't or did not want to meet Mannu, but because Ratan was honouring a commitment to himself.

He saw this chance encounter as a sign to express his heartfelt wish.

Even now he is pleading and not making any claims.

It is now up to Mannu's parents (as known to Mannu) what they want to do.

They could refuse.

They could show him Mannu's video or photo album instead.

They could show him Mannu from afar.

They could engineer a chance meeting but tell Ratan not to disclose anything.

After all any such disclosure will only bring grief all around, especially if Ratan Singh is dying anyway.

@bold - very true..
This chance meeting reminded me of Bhago.

when anandi's mother was ill, they had not informed anandi about it. Similarly if Ratan and his mother did not come to BH to inform ganga, there is nothing strange in it. It goes well with their story.

Moreover, this chance meeting with anandi looked natural.

CVs are doing a very good job in creating suspense.

Anyone against Jagya attains sainthood automatically. He doesn't even have to be redeemed like Ratan is. Some ppl(I don't remember who said and all those details pls) were worried about Ratan's rights even before he redeemed, now toh JaGan should give up mannu immly and then jagya can get blamed for giving up son who is not his khoon.

Mannu Ganga Jagya does not know Ratan is ill They dont even know Ratan is out of Jail because he asked them to keep Mannu away from him This scene cannot be compared with Anandi Bhago please 🥱

yeah and there is no sympathy for Jagya even now Crushed poor little Anandi ji's dreams once Even though he has never been like Ratan Did a lot good to Anandi as well Still he is targetted and Ratan has become saint in one episode This person who was raped a 13 year old girl every night ? Sympathies Praises are poured on him for his true repentance and Jagya is still mocked
A mother of a dying son could not contact same people whom she herself came to apologize to lessen burden on her soul for her guilt but for her son she cannot come Wow what a logical scene claps So natural 🤢

I don't get the whole process of mocking ratan s mother

why she dint contact the family?

suddenly what happened to her? her guilt bla bla bla

I mean the lady has redeemed, she felt like meeting her grandson always but dint want to complicate the situations for Mannu but as humans her heart took over mind, it's natural

So why mock her character?
