Harki's sadism has made Nandini also a sadist of sorts. She played a coldblooded trick.

Why Harki has no feelings at all for a girl who came to her as an infant?

Her son is learning all that sadism from his parents and implementing them.

Harki's behaviour is beyond understanding. A woman can be cold and ruthless towards her (adult) daughter-in-law, but maternal instinct of any woman will attract her to the infant she is living with. And to top it all - they do not seem to have a tradition of child marriages. It would look more believable if Harki was shown like DS - ruthless about work and traditions, still having some soft corner for the child.

I don't think Harki will be soft. From what they have implied Harki Devi also had a bad life.I think the life she lived made her hard.
Husband slapped and she was begging him to forgive her.All she did was interrupted his meeting with someone just to tell him to get ghee for his son.

Her daughter also was saying that she doesn't want a life like that of her mother's

Bearing violence seems to have made her hard and made her immune to violence because that must have been the way for her.

Harki Devi was handling Nandini so roughly when she was baby.It was heart wrenching to see Nandini cry into nights in those episodes - She didn't seem to have any patience for that little baby then. But I think they got some other lady to look after Nandini.
So it is unlikely that she will have any feelings for Nandini because she neither looked after her nor does she think violence is something bad .

The way they are showing men treat women with such disrespect it is not surprising to see Kundan also treating Nandini in the same way.

Nandini - didn't bother to tell there are ants in it and was enjoying that lady's distress.

For Nandini it has become a game of cat and mouse.

Hope she is removed from that environment soon or else she will end up like Harki Devi.

Child marriage does seem to exist in that community. They did show that girl who was being ill treated by her MIL and Nandini playing pranks on that MIL.
I think Kundan's parents got him married off only because of that dosh and they wanted to ward off that Dosh .It was Devi who told them to do that.

They also seem to be very particular about community and caste. That's what the daughter of the house was saying and that Akhera was hesitant about performing marriage because of this caste community issue. He didn't know the caste of Nandini.

May be these are the two reasons why they don't accept Nandini as family and for some inexplicable reason they are stuck with that girl and so the resentment comes out in illtreatment of the girl.

May be because of this Devi only they are forced to keep Nandini.

Wonder if Mangala Devi is faking or she is doing this unknowingly.May be she has some mental illness which makes her behave this way.

Mangala Devi and Devi ma are probable reasons why Nandini is still with them.

Now we know that Nandini can't be subjugated in that house horrors. If we had not known that she has been kidnapped when she was a baby and she is a daughter of a very illustrious couple we won't be feeling so bad for her we would have found her cat and mouse games funny.

Common yaar if they will not show harki and company bad then how cvs will prove child marriage is bad.

If nimboli will be happy in that family then viwers will be confused child marriage is right or wrong.

I really dont know what will be nimboli story but if writers want kucchi umkar ke pakke rishte then soon harki and company will turn mahan, may be kundan will become good boy and then nimboli and kundan relation.

Sab writers pe depend karata hai. 😉😉

mere hisab se toh akheraj ko jail jana chahiye because usne kidnapping ki hai but i m damn sure cvs will not show this.

Only two balika vadhus perhaps in whole village/town whatever it is. Girls are free to go to co-ed school without any restriction, Kundan's sister is still unmarried when she is in 20s and they want us to believe that child marriages exists in that community?

I will not be surprised if suddenly more balika vadhus emerge in Jhalra because they started to show Nandini doing household works only after several posts pointed out about this - agree, there are members who always defend creatives - that Nandini said I completed work is enough to know that she is doing all the work and even expert at household works. That she was indeed tortured since when she came to this house when there is not even a single torture mark - neither on her body nor on his behaviour. It looks as fake as Rasika's torture story.

How much more detailing is needed to show that Nandini is made to work and tortured and denied food?
How many more scenes are needed to convince people?

Looks like people want every minute of Nandini's life in her sasural to be shown in great detail

To tell the story about Nandini's life in her sasural how many scenes of her being beaten up and locked starved of food and made to work non stop are required? Do people want all these scenes to be shown in detail?

Obviously when they introduce a character they can tell the back story through dialogues sometimes things are implied. In the begining holi scenes time itself they covered her story from the time that she has been brought to their house till now in those sentences where they implied that she is treated badly despite which she doesn't let her spirits go down.

If there are members who come only to nit pick and criticise there are members who see things differently too.

One more thing. Now a days the episodes seem to be shot much ahead of their airing time.In fact almost a week ahead if we go by the what is being telecast in the news segments and promos that are being aired

----------------
That violent behaviour against her and that torture was shown in great detail and were brutal these scenes were during Holi time which were the begining scenes in the post leap phase and they implied that it has been happening for a long time. now how many more torture scenes required to make viewers convinced???
This show airs at 8pm which is meanr for family audiences which includes children too.

There was no torture in holi scene - Akhera was trying to slap Nandini and she was saved by Mangala. Kundan did rub the colour roughly - but even that was not torture. It is a fact that torture scenes started late - when people say comparing what Shiv did with what Anandi did (when she lost Nandini) was taken from forum - we can also say that they started showing Nandini torture after criticism in forum.
A person who is tortured from the beginning will look and behave like a tortured person. But they cannot do without glamour. Nandini looks as fake as Rasika.
