Hi everyone,

Welcome to much awaited Banner Contest for the Balika Vadhu forum! It's been over a year since the last Banner Contest happened, so it's about time to renovate the forum's deco.

We are looking forward to great participation in this contest, so please make sure that each one of you makes it a point to participate. If not, forward this link to your friends and request them to participate.

Now before we go ahead, we need to go through the most basic rules:

1) Each member can send up to a maximum of 5 banners only;
2) Each banner must be of size 728*90, no more no less;
3) Each banner must clearly state the title of the show "Balika Vadhu - Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishtey" (spelling errors will not be accepted);
4) All the banners ought to be non-animated;
5) The banner entry must not include any copyright or signature of the creator, which if spotted will lead to automatic disqualification;
6) Pictures used to make the banner must be taken from the onscreen show, offscreen pictures should not be included;
7) Advertising your banner in any manner is strictly prohibited. Any communication or use of MIDs will take the position of disqualification without negotiation;
8) It is mandatory to have the star cast of the show on the banner.
This comprises of Anandi (Toral Rasputra), Shivraj (Siddharth Shukla), Jagdish (Shashank Vyas), Ganga (Aasiya Kazi), Dadisa (Surekha Sikhri), Bhairon (Anup Soni), Sumitra (Smita), and Premkishor (Sudhir Pandey). Rest of the cast is optional.
You may include the current kids in the show including Mannu, Amol, Nandini, Abhimanyu, Shivam and Kundan.

For those of you who are new to Photoshop and would like to participate in the contest, please follow the links below for guidance. Some very kind members have posted useful tutorials.

Lastly and most importantly, ALL the banner entries must be sent via PM to me, christiandior.. The title of the PM must strictly be "Balika Vadhu Banner Contest Entry".

The deadline for sending in your entries is Sunday 22nd March, 2015.

Mod,

A leap is coming soon- March 4th- new characters r coming while most of the characters are going away. Can we wait?

And also in the compulsory cast list- surprised to see sanchi name there- I am sure that the entire forum will agree that she is the reason for BV down fall- A filler forced character-

And some of the most loved characters of the show are missing from the list- even if they made an exit from the show- they are the real reason for the success of the show-

BV viewers will never forget them-

None of the kids are there in the list- Nandu, Amol , Mannu- All r going to disappear from the show soon- And from banner too-

I too think it will better to wait till leap as they are many new characters entering. Some of them might be important to be included.

True - I don't think Sanchi should be included in the compulsory cast

Her presence took away the essence of the show.

Now she is not even part of the story

I think Amol Mannu Abhimanyu Shivam Nandini and Kundan have to be included in compulsory cast.

I think leap is going to happen in the next few days.Should wait till leap happens and see how the story goes.

1) I have mentioned in my post above that the rest of the cast is optional. You are allowed to include the kids or whichever cast you want.

2) Sanchi has been an integral part of the show, it doesn't matter whether she was good or bad to Balika Vadhu. Including or exclusing her is your choice - we are giving you the liberty of making Sanchi an optional character for the banner contest.

3) We are aware of the fact that a leap is about to happen. We will indulge into another contest a while after the leap so that there are enough scenes and pictures to pick from; and plus by then we will be sure of which cast is fixed and other issues. We have carefully looked at the circumstances before posting this - hence, the banner contest is on.
