Sid may have his own compulsions to leave BV. But they could have replaced him atleast. When they can replace so many characters, why not this time too?

There is one actor who somewhat resembles Sid and acts well too.

We really do n't know what is the actual reason behind Shiv death , Some said BV maker want to show women empowerment thats they wanted to kill him. some one Said Sid would not want to be part of bv 2. version Sid do not want to playing father role even He was not quite satisfied with the way his character has shaped up in the show , or some of said btw Sid and bv maker have different opinion , , Some said Shiv has not been part of original story , Some of said Sid is the reason to kill shiv , There are lots of story so we really do n't know which story is truth .

BV maker Does not want to take an other Risk thats why shiv was not replace the bv maker They do not want to repeat again same history , After Pratyusha exit bv failed to made a top postilion like before Pratyusha Exist

When he alive Nobody care about him all want to see Anadhi progress now you should be happy to see Anandi strong powerful role now she is one n only in there very much so why are u feel to need shiv just only give the support 😆😆

I still cannot understand why shiv was killed off. What has the storyline benefitted except for showing sad Anandi. Many things happening now could happen with Shiv around too. Anop's illegal business track could have better drama of professional ethics with Shiv around. Tension between Alok and Anoop would have been the same like now. Nandini kidnap too can happen with him around. He is the collector but that doesn't mean his daughter cannot get kidnapped. But yes baby marriage is weird but even that could happen with shiv around since it happens after kidnap.

@leaves the title of this post should have been- why Shiv was killed because it gives a wrong impression that Shiv was killed since Sid wanted to exit

Had that been the reason, they could have waited for few more days and could have given exit to Shiv at a logical point.

But they killed him off haphazardly because they wanted to create miseries in Anandi's life, wanted to bring her back to square one, they feel that she should not be happy in her personal life in order to excel in social service 🤢

None among us knows why Shiv was not replaced. All we can do is to tell what we think about it or deduce from the tracks/interviews etc. In the end - it is all our own views and will in turn reflect what we think about the character (and actor for some people). We do not know whether creative team has done any survey, we do not know whether a section of viewers demanded that the lead should be perpetually be in trouble etc. and we don't even know whether this track has anything to do with the TRPs.
