Even with Shiv, she totally fell in love with him only once he became her husband.
Ofcourse she became a complete woman with Shiv. All I am sayng is that she gave her best to both the men. Her relationship with Shiv became extraordinary because of how Shiv treated her.
And this emptyness in her eyes does pinch a lot.

Vijaya - she loved Jagya but she loved him like she would love a friend and she was devoted to him because she was told that he was her husband. But she never experienced what it means to have a man in her life.
She was never possessive of J like she was with Shiv. She was ready to scratch Shiv's eyes even if he joked about another woman.
She never did feel jealous when J walked in with G or when she saw them together before in Mumbai.
The differences were there
She never felt that she owned J like she did with Shiv.
I think they have shown the way she felt about the two men very well and their feelings for her too.

Why should Anandi feel the need to know that she can make a man happy? Are we saying if Shiv hadn't entered her life, she would have always remained incomplete ?
Yes, she was hurt after Jagya left her but never felt insecure or inadequate about herself.
She was perfectly fine as Sarpanch.

Pardon me if I am not making any sense, am a confused soul today 😊.

She was hurt in her relationship with J and also because child marriage had screwed up her perceptions about man woman relationship
It wouldn't have mattered if J walked out of the marriage because of communication gap and simply out grew their relationship and they parted amicably.
But he brought in another woman into his life didn't even respect the relationship they shared.
He did show her in many ways that he found her inadequate as a wife - he was ashamed of his child marriage when his fiend Lal Singh wasn't he was ashamed of the fact that she was not educated how many times he insulted her after he met Gauri?
How can all that not leave an impact on her ? He did make her feel her inadequate as a woman and what she did as his wife is not enough for him.
I don't know but I can never forget those scenes her hurt her bewildered eyes wondering why he was behaving this way with her?
If Shiv had not come into her life she would have gone on thinking that there was something lacking in her and that's why he went with Gauri.
She needed to be shown that she did make a great wife and her love is more than adequate for her husband who valued her.

Because she has been told by her mother, father and, Dadisa since she got married that it is her primary duty to keep her man happy. He is her beend. She must accede to all his demands. Make sure he is not wanting for anything.

And she was also told the same by her beend, whether in seriousness or in jest. And later on the same beend told her that she was useless as a woman and could not keep him happy because of her village ways.

This in her mind put a question mark on her adequacy as a wife. It did not in anyway lower her capability as a doer. Yes she could be a good sarpanch or even more. Would she ever be a good wife/mother?

What J and A shared as adults was just an extension of the friendship bond they shared as children and that was painted as love between husband and wife by all the concerned people.Anandi believed it and stayed true to it and J rejected it so cruelly by hurting her and shattering her self esteem as a woman. She did not understand the relationship yet she loved him and was willing to give her all to alife with him but he did not think that way.

So the love these two men have for Anandi cannot be equated either.
Shiv is very much like Anandi when it comes to relationships.
If Shiv had child marriage and same thing happened to him he too would have behaved in the same way as Anandi.

Didn't dare to watch last two episodes.. Didn't want to cry more, but finally its a relief that Amol is not going anywhere
Amol is someone who can compensate for Shiv's absence to some extent, for Anandi as well as his younger brother and sister.. Both Anandi and Amol share the same pain, for they have lost something that they always relied upon.
Amol will be emotional support for Anandi for sure.. Going forward she will share everything with him, like she used to share with Shiv.. Hope they will show all these things with Amol, which they probably didn't show with Nandu for obvious reasons

I don't think Amol or for that matter any one compensate for Shiv's absence.
It is just that there is a hope that she will get help from Amol to cope with her loss which can never be compensated.
Amol is her son who like her has experienced the love from Shiv but that doesn't mean he can compensate.
Amol will be protective of his mother that's for sure though.

@Rujub - nobody has enjoyed Anandi's widowhood here. This is the most painful chapter of her life for all AnSh admirers. And now this news, I can't believe it. The writer has gone crazy. Atleast leave the kids alone.
