I always say this, and am again saying. Not many that easily agree, understand or accept A's actions which they do if its about S (an example).
Understanding, caring, supporting, everything is there from her except a physical proximity.
That too how come its her fault as S seems to be not looking for it from her at all.
She is doing 'more than required' for him in that case as he was only looking for a support to find out truth and speak up for him in front of Ira!
I dont think anywhere S emotionally wanted A, its she who is taking initiatives whatever she can, let it be hospital hand holding scene, lake scene, lappy scene or SUV scene!
Until there is a need, nothing cant be shown.
Her behaviour - She is/was representing the Son who was/is lost in his own world.

i am not at all disappointed- not angry at all-

i expected this will exactly follow the HM kidnap track pattern.
