I have posted this topic because I love my grandparents very much.

Today is a Senior citizen's International day...

may be nobody is interested in this post

always give respect to your elders

because they gave us so many things

!Our elders are the path finders/ trailblazers for us ...by paving the way for us ...and showing the direction...they made their mark in the history and some of them attained iconic status !!!A great post dear ...like it.!

We forget that we all age one day and become grand parents.There are the pillars of the family,When the pillars are cracked we try to repair them,but in the current situation,they are send to old age homes.so,sad to say this,this is the time they need our love and care.When I visited INDIA one month back my grandma was round the clock taking care of me,Recently few weeks back she had paralysis attack.She is 78.Very independent and still going strong with her health crisis.she is my inspiration.This is what I wrote for her!

This is for you granny!

You are a wonderful always ,fresh like flower with a beautiful smile,

You are there when ever I ned you,

During my stay with you in the summer was great,

I was very happy my daughter can experience your love and care.

We miss those fun summers,where we used to enjoy all the goodies,

I want the same for my daughter,but things have changed.

I was happy that you are around to share all the memories,

Knowing that you are sick and unable to move your hand,

Can't imagine,my heart is crying with pain,

With the same hands you gave massage to me,

Now I can not be around you,

You are an inspiration to many old people,

Living by yourself independently !

Grandma,I want you to get well soon!

Love you and god bless you!

They are the pillar of our life, inculcate values in us gives us strength in the time need show us the right path to tread upon . Thank you Grand Parents Thanks for giving us your valuable guidance& always bestowing blessing upon us. Thanks TM.
