I was not convinced with dialogues of most characters in the episode today. Only positive things are small mercies from Ganga and Shiv.
First - JAGYA:
What was he saying?! This was Niyati? It was all destined to be revealed like this?! Ha! 😲 As if he or anyone else had no role in it! What seemed most unconvincing was his line to Ganga that till now whatever decisions he had taken in his life, he was unsure about them but only for this decision he had no doubts! 😲
Really? He was sure when he wanted to do MBBS in Mumbai. He was determined and ready to go to any length to get Gauri to agree to marry him. He was damn sure when he wanted to leave her. He was sure when he decided to try to get Anandi back in his life. He was sure when he wanted to help Ganga.
This line was exaggerated.
Devi maa ki marzi lined almost cracked me up! 😆 One's own decisions shouldn't be called that. And God knows what exactly was Devi Maa Ki Marzi and how many women She had chosen for him in changing phases of his life.
Lastly, Jagya was earlier saying he did not want to do anything to bring more sorrow for Anandi. In fact he had tried to help Ganga only as a prayashchit for ruining Anandi's life.
But now only Ganga had thought of what had happened to Anandi. Jagya was not bothered. He was talking of getting forgiveness only from Singhs. He did not even regret what Anandi had to face. Nor did he cough up that Anandi will take care of it (woh sambhal legi). No concern for what happened to her.
So what was all that drama earlier?!
I don't have problem with him for marrying Ganga. But I do wonder about his nonchalance towards Anandi and not even a word of regret or concern for her. At least Anandi had thought to herself for him when Shekhars had thrashed him at their home when he had come to break engagement. This man couldn't even think to himself about her? 😲
His line about family being together and forgiving them, accepting them because "woh apne hain, zyada der tak naaraaz nahin reh sakte" seemed as if he took them for granted.
They forgave me earlier, they'll do it now. So fine.
GEHNA-BASANT:
Why was she so reluctant and scared talking to Basant? This is not how Gehna was! 😡
Anyway, NO concern about break up, public showdown or ramifications that also affected Anandi?
It was laughable how she was also calling it Maa ki marzi.
How come this is the one break up she is convinced about?
Was this concern for Ganga? Or was this out of selfishness as Jagya helped her conceive again, Ganga saved her life and conducted her delivery?
Why was she asking Basant who was right for Jagya? As if Basant had been very astute in such matters! (Man with shady past himself!)
She was so selfish that she was not thinking of family at all. Only Basant was concerned about the tamasha and its effect on everyone. She was rather smiling and needling Basant for his agreement to her view. No wonder Sumitra has begun to dislike her now. (Wasn't she irritated when Anandi and Sumitra would guide her on Nandu?! If others spoke in her child's matter then it was a matter of rage. If she did then it was fine!)
Basant gave right advice to her. Had she spoken this in front of others, phir toh dhajjiyan udd jaati! 😆
I find them hypocritical. They did nothing for Ganga earlier. Now suddenly they support Jagya's decision.
DS:
This is based on precap and last episode. She is the MAIN REASON why Jagya was what he was and why he had to do what he did. I hated it earlier and I hate it now how she qashed her hands off Jagya instead of taking responsibility herself!
She's only ashamed of Jagya? No shame on herself?
Okay she will take away hospital and locket etc. again from him. But what's this? Is it all conditional for her? That I'll give him hospital and other stuff if he obeys me and does what I want. But I'll snatch it when he goes against me.
What kind of laad is this?
The kind of anger she has shown at Jagya in last 2 years. That she should have shown much earlier when he went wrong so that he'd be a more disciplined and stable guy!

She almost pushed Bhairon today. 😆 What's the use of shouting now? Why didn't she be a proactive mother in Jagya's formative stages? Also, why did she shout at Bhairon when he had tried to discipline Jagya and scolded him, after which he had escaped to Mumbai with friend Sundar?
She was earlier either silent and helpless. Or had issues with Bhairon for being harsh on Jagya.
What's the use of shouting now or behaving like she had always warned but no one listened to her?
Why she blames only others? It's she who controls things now. So why's she behaving like no one listened?
I have no sympathy for her. If Ganga is a problem then Sumitra should have known that having SIL of daughter as bahu would also create problems later in both families (irrespective of qualities of Sanchi or lack of them).
She's a failed mother whose daughter too had been a shame to her natal family and in laws and became stable very late in life. It's Shyam and understanding MIL who handled her Sugna.
If her kids always needed someone else's handling to be on right path then it shows what a failure she is. She should smash her own head in a wall instead of pushing Bhairon.

What was the need to get up and jump at Anandi? And still suspect she was hiding something?
Anyway the line that got my goat was, "Yeh log kya samjhenge hamara dard!" 🤢
What? Who can know better than Anandi? Her own marriage broke, she's seen her parents and in laws break down and suffer. She has suffered for years herself. She wouldn't know?!
Self obsessed Ira thinks only her daughter's and her pain is unique!
Why is she still hauling up Anandi when Anandi has quietly left Singhs and come with them?

Talked sense today. But if he was relieved that engagement break up was not as bad as marriage break up. And if he was happy to get rid of Jagya. Then why that drama at his own house and later at Jaitser upon Jagya's refusal to marry Sanchi? 😲
Chhoti Maa agreed with him. Sensible. But Ira will take it other way. 😕
SANCHI:
I am kind of happy that she did not cross question Anandi much and did not shout at her. Asked one question and left. 😛
But her words about "planning" and Anandi knowing of Jagya's "plans" but not telling them to Shekhars was again her trademark viciousness! 😡

Thank God she did not talk much or defend Jagya when Ira was cursing!!!
But her silence and flashbacks told what she knew.
She was honest when she told Shekhars that she did not know of Jagya's plan to marry Ganga. But surely hiding the truth of his affections for Ganga and her affections for him!
She was trying to be this coach and guide to Jagya na? Now she's paying for it!
Kachchi umar ke pakke rishte can make pakki umar ke rishte kachche! 😲

He seemed really devasted. Narrowly escaped accident or else entire clan would be in hospital.
He pulled his hand away when Anandi tried to touch. 😲
He was silent, glaring and his eyes were questioning too as Ira and Sanchi did Anandi's court martial. 😕
But when Ira insisted on accusing Anandi, he said "Mom please". Small mercy after this chilling coldness. 😊
Shiv left the scene. Coldness will remain I guess.

I am happy she thought of and spoke about Anandi. 😊 At least usko toh khayal tha!
But why cry over her being a wall in between Jagya and his family? She always knew it. It's not news to her.
I wish she had not brought Mannu along in precap. They were visiting Singhs for first time after this incident. Showdown was a given. Toddler shouldn't be exposed to this even if you consider he's asleep.

She wasn't merely elated over marriage or getting to be with Doctor sa. Acha hai. I found her behaviour better than her husband today (I mean Jagya).
Many dialogues didn't make sense today. And indeed it's hard to feel sympathy for anyone (IMO). I don't know what CVs are doing with characters!
