previously too...anandi's acts regarding social services got extreme criticism too when she started her elderly ppl class...like its like mockery etc!!
though i wud prefer anandi to join a NGO which is in this field from long n then she wud ahve started accordingly...but previously too she didnt do that...

I feel Anandi has improved with her ways to stand against something dangerous...if she would have been the Anandi before she met Shiv she would not have thought of police but now she thought of police because Shiv had once already tole her it better to always have a backup for such missions...she kept that point in mind which is good ⭐️

I don't see how argument and physical fights are legitimate reasons to close down bars.

Bars can be sealed simply on allegations of illegal arrack.

and so what if anandi is collector's wife? As long as she doesn't use her influence for her own benefit in a negative way, it is okay. It is perfectly alright to use his influence for positive reasons. There is no ego involved in these matters to show she is "independent".

Today I felt everything was so rushed and very unrealistic. How many days do the women know about anandi and her capabalities that they started trusting her. The women who could not go against the abused husband 2 days back has got so many guts to enter a bar and order drinks😆.

Anandi calls police as if they are her employees. If she is not a DC wife will the police easily listen to her and close the bar so easily. This does not happen in such a speed manner the way they show it in BV. Dont know why they are rushing the social work by anandi in such a hurried way. In jeytsar anandi took some time to get the support from villagers to change their mentality. But here withing 2 days she is the devi of the basti in udaipur.

Can a ordinary women without a DC husband can get the bar closed in 1 day ?

and the bad point with anandi's approach is that it got the bar closed... but now what? the men will be very resentful against the wives and target their anger towards them and beat and abuse them even more.

Does anyone seriously think that as soon as the bar is closed these men will all become reformed angels and model husbands/fathers to the basti women?

It will just antagonize them even more.

The only diplomatic way to do this was to have an anonymous "chaapa" put on the bar and have the bar sealed.

That way the men would all be out of the bar, but nobody would figure out their wives or anandi was behind it.

Then anandi could have targeted the men in her sunday bazaar idea, and got their buy-in. Slowly after they saw they could earn money in legitimate activities, I feel the men would have changed on their own.

Now, because of this drama, everyone will just be resistant and defiant towards anandi... and display more hostility towards their wives.
