Whoa! that's a strong way of putting it. But I feel its just a way the Channel tried to get audience reaction of Ganga. Because lets face it, right when the news of her entry was announced she was widely bashed on the forum for being the 3rd girl in Jagya's life or based on her looks. She had some good scenes at the start but ever since the Sanchi character started showing up more and more Ganga was pushed to the BG. Even Shashank was missing for quite sometime or we just got glimpses of him. In total we got very few notable JaGan scenes and small hints like the khoon bhari maang. Even till last week Ganga was being unfairly bashed all around for every action or reaction of hers.
Now that the RS hostage drama gave them a lot of TRPs, they wanted to see what exactly people thought about Ganga's character. Will she be important enough that people would miss her. So they had no other way than to pull off a stunt like this. Guess they must have got their answer now.
Anyways that's just my view on this whole issue.
