Colors' TRP grabber Balika Vadhu has completed five glorious years today (July 21, 2013) at a time when serials are not even sustaining audiences' interest for six months at a go.Shashank Vyas tweeted, "Tody balika completed 5 yrs wishes n thankx to oll .after all I started ma journey frm here...colors hapy bdy ..love n energy to oll.(sic)"
When we called up Shashank, he said, "Today is Sunday and I am chilling at home. I am not sure what kind of celebration is taking place on the sets. With no episode bank, we are really at a tight schedule. As for me, I met up Pratyusha Banerjee, Smita Bansal and Sriti Jha last night. It was a celebration in itself."
