Soaps are relying on love triangles to usher in high TRP's!
No matter how melodramatic or conspiring a daily soap is, one cannot deny the fact, that most of the daily soaps have generous sprinkling of romance, to ease the mood. Now the makers of our daily soaps have realized that adding the two could give them the perfect recipe for a hit show!
Yes, it's all about mixing drama with romance and creating a love trio! It's what most of television serials are doing on popular channels, to rake in high TRP's. Let's see which ones have adopted the latest 'love triangle' concept, to woo the audience.
Jagiya might have got married on an on-off basis and constantly been on the love trio picture, but the latest one seems to be catching all eye balls. This time Jagiya is happily pictured with Ganga by the audience, but Saanchi is adding dollops of jealousy, conspiracy and obsession in the triangle.
RK is all happy with Madhubala in his newly married life, but Sultan's presence makes him insecure every time. That's why the lovey-dovey duo after much trials and tribulations are all gearing up for some saucy romance. Sultan is the Jodi breaker in this beautiful relationship. Now he is adamant at going a step ahead by taking his mentally imbalanced mother to RK's mansion.
Asad, Zoya and Tanveer are the famous love cum hate trio of Indian silver screen. Although, Asad and Zoya have not confessed to each other, in spite of the ongoing marriage celebrations, but still the longing stares say it all. However, Tanveer the dangerous hazel eyed vamp of the soap, is hell bent to break the relationship into smithereens.
Raj and Sarita might be the unhappy, fighting couple, but still the couple can be in love. And which is why, Divya, the sweet lady, or rather the ex-flame of Raj, is keen on getting the duo back on their love track. Although, the audience can easily make out as to who could be the third angle, but let the show reveal it all.
Junoon- aisi nafrat toh kaisa ishq
Meera and Prithvi started with heated debates and some stormy moods, but the couple is now happy with the newfound matrimonial bliss. Nonetheless, despite their happy life, love life does have thorns for them, namely Shallu. She is the typical navel bearing sari clad vamp, who all the time is playing the distressed lady, trying to fetch Prithvi's attention.
Akash is madly in love with Poonam, but is silent for the sake of her wellbeing. Its' her happiness, for the sake of which he is trying hard to help in her arranged marriage. Gautam, the man chosen by Poonam's parents, is a good lad, but his way of treating Aakash and his greedy family's demands are making him a less favored by the audience.
