Perhaps Shiv and Anandi should take the message and tell the family about what happened in Kashmir. They now know that hiding the truth even with good intention may create problems later.

If they are humans then we should accept that Ira is also a human and had right to feel offended or lose her patience. Ira is never nasty to Anandi on purpose the way DS or other "evil" MILs usually are. This time around if she felt offended for a genuine reason then what's wrong if she said some harsh words in anger?

We should not call Ira cheap or accuse her of being like Gauri's mom or club her with Sanchi.

Shiv realised that he should have confessed and should've taken it seriously but it would have been better had he said so in front of his mom so that she at least felt her son admitted making a mistake.

Right now Ira thinks her kids don't even think they've made a mistake.

Shiv is so calm and careful while talking to DS and Anandi. Why not same calmness and careful choice of words while tackling own mother?

In today's episode Daddu made Ira feel guilty. Now Mahi will also join the brigade?

I am sorry but if the men in family keep behaving this way they will alienate Ira and Sanchi more.

They are not balancing the new woman and existing women in family properly.

I would have no problem with Ira's behaviour if she had talked with Anandi regarding her mistake here after UD's exit . But hurting your DIL with chosen words which actually are her reality unfortunately in front of a outsider does not spoke well for Ira.
Shiv was defending his wife who was called jhooti and makkar by UD and BV and a divorcee by his Mom in front of UD . He knows Anandi does not deserve it cos she herself was not involved in any planning and already had told the truth to him and was eager to inform the whole family .She was stopped by S only . so he must be hurt at that moment and perhaps raised his voice in the heat of the moment .That seems natural to me .Later perhaps he will realize his fault and ask maffi from his mother .
