@faryal-malik

Please read my post "carefully" again and then react!

I did not say Jagya put his "college pics" on the card. I said he put a COLLAGE of his pics on the card. College and collage are entirely different things!

And I have no objection to Jagya's card except the non-inclusion of Sugna in it.

He is not Sumitra's only child is he?

I also make cards and gifts for my mom on Mother's Day since childhood. And I always make it a point to put pics and names of both me and my brother on them even if my brother is not involved in making or handing over those to my mom.

Here I do have problem with CVs for blacking out Sugna. They neither showed her brother putting pics of her and him with their mother on the card. Nor did they show her calling up or showing up for her mom.

Does eldest child of the family and one's own didi not matter at all?

And yes I do consider Mother's Day stuff as a way of dragging the serial by CVs. Message is a joke. When we talk of message in other tracks of the story then we're told it is a serial and its primary purpose is to entertain! But now message is used to justify an out of the blue Mother's Day episode?!

Message is fine if it is in the story. If story is heading somewhere else and suddenly characters are made to celebrate some day then it seems out of place IMO.

Warna agar aise hi message ghusana hai toh for timepass and dragging we have many more days like Family Day, Daughters' Day, Fathers' Day, Teachers' Day, Army Day, Womens' Day, Doctors' Day etc. and they can even show Mannu's vaccination for a whole episode to drag it and give lectures on do boondh zindagi ke!

Jagya-Ganga conversations at least make sense in the story. So do Basant-Gehna ones. Mothers' Day was just made to fill up one epi IMO.

Your mother may have liked watching. In my family we all thought BV was killing time (because we watch serial for story not such random stuff).

Still to each his own. Our opinions are different. And yes I did like Shashank's acting a lot in this episode and was gushing over Mannu. Anything with them as long as irritating Shekhars are not there.

i made a mistake i accept that sorry for that 😊i didn't notice it before

i don't understand your point it depends on everyone's choice Everyone wants to express the feelings the way one want A gift from just him if i give my mom a gift from me whats an issue in it if its just from me only that doesn't make me the only child of my mom and sidelining others I have made cards numerous times for my mother my siblings make theirs we sit together and make our own cards Cvs not including Sugna in this scene i can understand that you are right here she has to be there in the scene but thats no point why Jagaya didn't include Sugna in the card thats certainly no point of objection in my view Why he cannot give a gift to his mother on his behalf only ? It was his feelings only that he wants to tell his mom how you raised me and i know it and i am sorry over my past mistakes from now on you will never see my that side ever again that hurted you. Now how he can include Sugna in expression of his this feelings to Sumitra 😕Sugna could give her own gift

Here I do have problem with CVs for blacking out Sugna. They neither showed her brother putting pics of her and him with their mother on the card. Nor did they show her calling up or showing up for her mom.

Cvs not including Sugna in the scene was not right you are right here but the card thing is sorry no point of issue and i disagree with you here

Does eldest child of the family and one's own didi not matter at all?

Cvs not including Sugna in the scene you are right but didi part i again say is NO point Thats definitely no point everyone has right to express the feelings the way one want Sugna could be shown giving her own card to her mother but let Jagaya express his feelings to his mom in his own way therez nothing wrong in it even Sugna will not mind because it is no point of minding and making an issue of

And yes I do consider Mother's Day stuff as a way of dragging the serial by CVs. Message is a joke. When we talk of message in other tracks of the story then we're told it is a serial and its primary purpose is to entertain! lol it did entertain us if not you thats your choice There was nothing drag in it and BV is entertainment plus social message based show Thats no joke thats a fact Even non social message based shows too celebrated mother's day Kekta shows too did and i guess you are forgetting one important thing entertainment is not for fun only The first rule of media is to inform and teach people, social awareness

Message is fine if it is in the story. If story is heading somewhere else and suddenly characters are made to celebrate some day then it seems out of place IMO.

Lol where it was heading? AnSh were not shown celebrating mother's day in kidnapping 😆it were Singhs who could celebrate it and they did There was nothing out of place here Your opinion yours only i disagree It was just one scene not one week and it was perfectly placed

Thats unfair from you One scene on mother's first time such a big issue 🥱Disagree with you i loved it so did many others

Jagya-Ganga conversations at least make sense in the story. So do Basant-Gehna ones. Mothers' Day was just made to fill up one epi IMO.

It was sensible too NO fill up its yous opinion i disagree BV is a show which focus on relations importance and building , the bonds of relations not on conversations Mother's day part highlighted the beautiful mother and children relation A gift for senior viewers , all mothers and they loved it

Your mother may have liked watching. In my family we all thought BV was killing time (because we watch serial for story not such random stuff).

Your family i don't have any issue with them thats their choice Not only my family but many families i know they loved it so cvs pleased some they cannot please all Here i can see many loved it So their effort is not wasted There are people who loved it if some didn't thats their choice not cvs fault if it would be cvs fault then no one would have loved it so it was no killing time for us or random stuff but best stuff and worth a watch

Still to each his own. Our opinions are different. And yes I did like Shashank's acting a lot in this episode and was gushing over Mannu. Anything with them as long as irritating Shekhars are not
there.

Yes we are poles apart in our opinion but agreed somewhere yes Shashank was brilliant in episode and so was Mannu cutie pie and Shekhars free episode is a blessing😆

I agree with the members about suguna. She's been forgotten completely. Cvs forgot that singh's have a biological daughter suguna. Ds called up anandi to tell that gehna is pregnant but not suguna ! Even at holi celebrations, the shot of suguna is a old one. I doubt if she will be there for rakhi at all. What happenned to all those rakhis and holy threads she has been saving for jagya. Don't even think cvs still remember that. Cvs would rather kill us with clowns Shekhars than some sensible suguna jagya scenes !

@Faryal-malik

Whatever I wrote is MY opinion just as much as whatever you wrote is only YOUR opinion. So let's not try to generalise anything and let's agree to disagree.

I hate BV for ignoring parent-daughter relationships of late. Anandi never thinks of her father. Nobody calls him up. Even Singhs used to go to them only if they had to use them to pressurise Anandi for doing something.

And Sugna is forgotten? She is there to be shown only as part of crowd in festivals or shown on Raksha Bandhan?

Shyam and Sugna and actors playing them are 10 K times better than the irritating Gehna and her even more irritating Nandu (that kid puts me off).

Singhs behave as if only their DIL "adopted" as daughter is their daughter and the biological daughter has been duly ignored.

Forget cards. Nobody even thought of inviting Sugna in Mothers' Day surprise?

I hate how TV serials glorify only DILs and it is DILs who are made daughters (after being widowed or divorced) while the biological daughters are only there to be married off as soon as they grow up or play nosy SILs that create trouble for DILs!

Gehna used to care and sacrifice so much for her maa bapu and sisters. CVs killed off her family after the actress was replaced.

Daughters don't figure in scheme of things I guess! Even most female characters in this show from Phooli to Ganga have been shown to have sons. Rat's second wife has a female foetus so nobody cares anymore for her. Singhs are ready to welcome a girl only after Gehna has duly gifted them a pota. Ab ladki "bhi chalegi"!

While I agree Jagya might have wanted to make it personal between his mother and him, I did not like it on CVs part to behave as if Jagya was Sumitra's only child.

On a different note I want Anandi's first child to be a daughter and CVs showing everyone welcoming her birth equally as a male child. People don't mind if the second child is female after the first one is a boy. But they make a face if the first one itself is a girl. I hope BV rips apart this BS notion and sends a positive message in future.
