Akash this shows people are still interested in crap sanchi drama... If BV is getting TRPs so the reason is only people are still accepting the crap on the name of habit :( but after this what is there to show???
Don't tell me Anandi's career because Toral is not capable of taking things ahead on by her on at all... :P

😆..Agreed...a living example is Mah Own Grandmom...she still watches BV.....That too 11 pm repeat 😆...These new rivals are capable of displacing BV from slot leadership

GEC Watch: Zee inches closer to Star Plus with a gap of 32 GRPs

The Hindi general entertainment space saw three launches in Week 25, including Meri Bhabhi on Star Plus, Jodha Akbar on Zee TV and Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors.

While continuing to stick to its second position, Zee TV has grown stronger in Week 25 of 2013, on the back of its new property Jodha Akbar which opened with 2.3 TVRs, and a special Jaipur episode of Qubool Hai, another fiction show on the channel. The channel has thus added 16 extra points to clock 209 GRPs, up from last week's 193 GRPs. The channel was able to push three of its properties in the top watched shows list.

Star Plus leads the Hindi GEC (general entertainment channel) genre with 243 GRPs, down from 254 GRPs. With a decrease in the GRP numbers, the channel is just 32 points ahead of the second top GEC, Zee TV, as per the TAM data (C&S, 4+ HSM) provided by a TAM software subscriber. The top GEC was able to get five of its fiction properties in the list of most watched shows in Week 25.

Maintaining its place at No. 3, Viacom 18's Colors has increased its GRPs by seven points, garnering 188 GRPs, up from last week's 181 GRPs. Four of the channel's shows are in the top ten rankers.

MSM's Sony continues to be at No. 4, with a marginal loss of two points to clock 149 GRPs in Week 25 (as compared to 151 GRPs in the previous week). Sony's sibling channel SAB TV is at No. 5, 11 GRPs behind Sony. The channel has garnered 138 GRPs in the current week (down from 140 GRPs in Week 24). Its flagship show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, continues to be on the most watched shows' list.

At No. 6, Life OK is at 136 GRPs, up from 127 GRPs that it garnered last week. Sahara One follows Life OK with 20 GRPs in the current week.

Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum rules the roost of the top programmes in the Hindi GECs with 4.2 TVRs. Zee TV's Qubool Hai stands at No. 2 with 4 TVRs, followed by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV) and Veera (Star Plus), both the shows having clocked 3.6 TVRs each, at No. 3.

DID Super Moms (Zee TV) has once again geared up to clock 3.5 TVRs in the Saturday episode on June, 22. Next, at No. 5, Colors' latest non-fiction property, Comedy Nights with Kapil, has debuted at 3.4 TVRs on Saturday, June 22.

Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke stands next with 3.3 TVRs. At No. 7, Balika Vadhu from the Colors banner gathered TVRs of 3.2, followed jointly by the three Star Plus fiction properties, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Saathiya Saath Nibhaana and Pyar Ka Dard Hai with 3.1 TVRs, each.
Colors' shows, Madhubala (2.7 TVRs) and Uttaran (2.4 TVRs), end the list at ninth and tenth positions, respectively.

Number 1.
BV was never about TRPs.

It is being run for charity so that many people in the TV industry can get a career 👍🏼
So TRP going down doesn't matter to them AT ALL. They are only happy with social messages that they are giving thru Sanchi, Ganga and Jagya's re-marriage track. 😃 As we can clearly see and understand that the Sanchi shouting has not been put to get the TRP up, but for some mystical messages that only CVs are aware of. We will know soon, don't worry, they are of course not bothered about TRPs.

Number 2.
In BV the story is the hero/heroine/villain or any side characters you can think of. Actual actors do not matter AT ALL. 👏

Obviously, as you can see by the brilliant track currently being done in BV, the story is going at a breakneck speed with brilliant twists and amazing social messaging. To enact this wonderful screenplay, We have 2-3 ladies thinking and crying about Jagya. Of course its just genius. 👍🏼

I think everyone should agree to this without dispute and hail TR for what she is and how she has added brilliantly to BV. And if you don't.. this forum knows well how to deal with you.
