Agree on everything. First week toral was fine because they smartly made her enter in a completely new environment with no singhs or shiv. Then this week was the free fall where it became apparent that toral has no clue or chemistry with shiv. Toral has to work very hard and a good track would have given her the time to least try to understand who anandi is. But they give us this age old Singh anandi separation ott drama. Pathetic dialogs for anandi, she is coming across as te worst bahu or wife. Her husbands biggest khushi and she is butchering it for him with her Rona dhona for mera parivaar.

Yash - I do agree with you yesterday's episode is a total loss.

FIRST - this topic is I think about BV's story going nowhere and yesterday's episode being a drag. It's not about Toral vs. Pratyusha. So please can members stop that endless Toral/Prats comparison here? Hasn't it been done to death yet? Why divert the topic?

SECOND - Anandi is also a leader and from beginning she was fiesty also. She could get aggressive when she wanted to. That's why Avika's Anandi was so popular.

Maritally "butchered" Anandi had already been shown to move on and be ready for intimacy with Shiv, which was shown in episodes with Prats dreaming of romancing Shiv, and making promises of showering love on Shiv, to Shiv's photo. Anandi is not just coy or wounded. And whether Prats' fans get incensed or disagree, but IMO she was weak in scenes where leadership aspect of Anandi was to be shown. Eyes are fine, but in such scenes, voice, face and physicality also matter. And as Suchi said, Toral NAILED it in Save Mannu episodes. There was a fiery spark in her eyes, resolve in her voice and strength in her gait. She was fab.

THIRD and actually to TM's original post: The show's clearly going nowhere. Yesterday's episode was all trash except for DS giving basket of flowers to Daddu. That was great comic relief and some fine acting by two seasoned veterans! 👏

This transfer drama, attachment of Anandi-Singhs, Ganga-Anandi comparisons and pointless conversations over dinner table are getting tedious now! I feel CVs aren't even able to show tracks effortlessly. Scenes abruptly shift from Shiv-Anandi, to Ganga and Singhs, to Shekhars to Singhs and Anandi! Episodes seem like a khichdi these days and I don't even understand what's going on! I can't make sense of the story!

Regarding Toral, I want her to understand Anandi BUT interpret and enact it her own way instead of CVs making her to imitate Prats or her speaking slowly etc. Politeness and sweetness isn't about speaking too slowly! Toral's yet to sink in Anandi and yet to strike a balance.

But as I said I don't mind the actress and replacement issue/teething problems because it took us a year to accept Prats as Anandi when Avika left. One week isn't enough to judge anyone.

Tracks are nonsense and irritating.

@red - DISAGREE!! Just bcoz she thot abt intimacy didn't mean she was over it.Even in the scene where P as Anandi almost confessed, she portrayed a lot of hesitation.Just compare P's confession scene and T's confession...and u will get the answer.

As for the story...honestly the logistics of Balika Vadhu have always been haywire.The rail fiasco...GaGa break up over a little lie...Jagiya's so called redemption...his running to village...Sanchi's unbearable dumbness...J's maafi mission...all these are great examples of lazy input in script writing.But what saved the grace of the show were the good performances by lead actors and strong characterisation.And when even they arent there...wots left?There are two main protagonists in BV...Anandi and Jagiya...J they dont show...Anandi is not worth watching.

@yash, yesterday was the karela after the mithai. Monday to Thursday we had enough AnSh and Sekhar, so you cannot have a full week of chocolates. Hence the kchillarela was brought in. The confusing dialogues, DS lecture in dinner was all deliberate to make people argue and fight. This is strategy. Why blame toral she did not write the episode, she acted as the director told him. Even I do not blame Prat, she did the way she was told.
After shiv's entry, anandi has to share fans, and after prat she has lost fans. So Anandi is not the crowd puller, it is shiv and AnSh. So chill, BV knows how to run the show and the loss of viewers is not a stopper for them. They will move AnSh track with what AnSh lovers wanted of course with grey episodes as yesterday as filler. All well that ends well, - AnSh will be together, and when shiv is there who cares who anandi is, they can make sumitra also move in as an anandi.😉

Infact I want to recollect every thing from the day shiv entered and Anandi growing into a strong individual dispite of her love towards Singhs. The story also woven so amazingly between these two characters and was presented to the viewers perfectly until rmarriage. We as viewers had seen Anandi full of confidence, love and respect towards shiv, though she was not vocal about love (remember the seen after sangeet where shiv brings jagya back from Jail and the interaction between Shiv-Anandi). I am also recollecting one of the voice over which says "Today's generation who are qualified, enthu and have dreams to do something should not forget to serve our rural areas". Shiv despite an IAS topper, foreign educated and urban bought up had struck to the roots. He prefered a place called Jaitsar. And with the support and like mindedness of a girl called Anandi he was confident of fulfilling his dreams. This was the story until marriage and even more. But every thing is out of place now.

I want to express more but even I am losing inspiration.

the discussion is about how the story is going about and how they are just making fool of all the characters 9specially Jagya) so please stop blaming the actors for such things

Here I am worried for the storyline... Before I didn't like Jagya for what he did to Anandi, now that Anandi has moved on, I want to see him to move on too. Please give him good story.
Anandi dear please say yes to your hubby and go to Udaipur. When she wanted to move out of that haveli during Jagya-Gowri fiasco dadisa had a heart attack. She had to stay back for her dear dadisa. Is she now worried how dadisa will take the news??
