this is what i think regarding transfer issue
From outside Anandi and Shekhars are almost same...they both support girl's education...gender equality...working woman and so on.
but deep down inside they are polar apart due to their upbringing and lifestyle
Anandi lived in a village...yes she was more open-minded than other villagers but yet she was aloof of many city things like live-in relation and husband-wife helping each other in house chores and even in the career issues
Shekhars lived in city and their son Shiv went aboard to study...they have seen their friends having live-in relations and such career related issues...they even support many of them
the transfer case is one such issue which highlights their difference
When Jagya decided to go Mumbai everyone forced her to go with him since wife should stay with husband no matter what (although that case was a bit different as Anandi didn't have any work with her)
Anandi was never aloud to voice her opinions even in her life matters and her elders took decision for her when she was capable of doing so
Shekhars having so many govt. employees must have seen so many issues like this where husband-wife live separately due to their careers and even they supported it as they give equal status to both men and women
Here they applied the same method with Anandi by asking her what she wants
Anandi may misinterpret their asking with lack of faith in her which is not her fault.
Its nothing to do with the fact that Anandi is less concerned toward Shiv and Shekhars or over-concerned with Jagya-Singhs because no one except for us and Saanchi minded over this matter...Shekhars were hardly bothered with her behavior and neither was Shiv
Anandi and Shekhars (except shiv) lack the trust needed for the base of their relation...both the sides are not able to understand each other as much as they should have for which i would solely blame Anandi for not trying to spend time with them...Saanchi and Anandi would have progressed a lot had they bonded over small talks and even Ira would have never doubted on Anandi so much had Anandi stayed with Shekhars in KB...although her making private matters a public discussion was disgusting
Shekhars and Anandi needs to work a lot in their relation by spending time with each other without Singhs's interference which is possible with Anandi going to Udaipur...Shekhars are ready to accept Anandi as she is but even Anandi needs to understand their new lifestyle and the difference of their upbringing...i am neither bashing Anandi nor Shekhars...they all are right in their places and it the gap of understanding that makes every word both the sides say to each other gets twisted into something else
