Shiv's transfer to Udaipur is a very interesting track.
Anandi is put in a dilemma whether to accompany her husband, discontinuing her dreams for Jaitser and leaving her work(Girls School, Adult education, Sarpanch(?)) half way OR be away from her loving husband and suffer the separation pain. Either way she chooses, she has to make huge adjustments and sacrifices. It will be very interesting to see how CVs shape up the story. Many women face this question at the time of marriage or sometimes later in their marriage. Husband gets a transfer of job, or relocate to another place for job reasons, or husband assume greater responsibilities at work or woman has to take a break to care for small children or elderly at home. All these scenarios are common. There are no absolute right or wrong decisions. All the same reasons apply to men too when wife is working. However, society's expectations are different for man and woman.
It is a testing time for Anadi and Shiv're relationship. Marriage is a commitmemnt for life and let us how Anandi and Shiv safe gaurd each other's interest. It is a test for Shekhars too. It is easy to talk, but difficult to practise. We will see where they stand with respect to supporting their DIL.
My wish for Anandi is that she gets a chance to decide her course of action. She should have a voice. And people respect her right to take a decision. Family supports her. She brings a work-life balance in an Anandi style. She gets opportunities to pursue her interests.
