Appy, Completely agree with you! 👍🏼 Shiv is the reason I stated watching BV and will continue coz of his remarkably good acting.

Mr Shukla please keep up the good work. We will support you all the way...exactly my thoughts😊

First of all the writers have made a beautiful character Shiv Raj Shekhar...he is the one who could give courage to Anandi to love again and live & enjoy life once again. I have loved him from the very first shot...Shiv rescuing Ajee from that doomed carriage. The arrival of Prince charming of Ajee to help her in her struggle to move on and his undying love for her has made the character so endearing to me. His kharoos CS avataar to pyaar ka maara (I have drooled on his blushes and flushes ☺️) and now after marriage the way he hid his disappointments and gave Ajee the required space and courage to deal with her anxiety and the way he is making her fall for him ... what a character, dichotomy of strength and vulnerability with perfect ETIQUETTE (Kudos to CV).

Shiv is such a perfect guy. Knows how to speak without offending elders...his hurt, embarrassment, support to wife and respect for Mom all was intact yet he conveyed his thoughts and bruised dil ka haal to his mom and mom also got it... the whole sc was juxtaposed on his face ... great acting and voice modulation ...snatching the phone from mom...no I'll go in person to haveli and talk to her parents 😳 The way he assured Sumi & Bhairav was awesome.

CV know there job pretty well so I'm all set to give new Ajee a chance. Then I have always seen Anandi on screen not Avika OR Pratz so it will not be difficult for me to associate with the new face. It is always the character that is more important in reel. If it is etched well everything can fall in place. Extracting good acting from a actor is also director's job. If the captain of the ship is good then nothing can go wrong... here we have strong captain so

In fact his acting was very spontaneous. As if there was no pressure on him...though there was this tremendous pressure of internal politics going on...the pressure of losing his co-star, the pressure of facing a new co-star, and the pressure of rising above everything so the show can go on...but he did not let us get a hint of the pressure he was under.

On top of everything was the pressure from some of his so-called fans asking him to quit.

And he came out with flying colors...without anu support from the established actors of the show.

Well done Sid! Bravo! Great episode after a long time.👏

Aparna...ditto your thoughts on the above! Sid has come into his own with the role of Shiv & he is brilliant as Shiv... I feel really bad that he should suffer the consequences of someone else's decision! He has given more than 100% to this role & the result is there for all to see. This is his big break in career...if anything I feel a sense of loyalty towards him, for he is the one hanging in three & trying to make things work. And the character of Shiv is the best portrayal on tele of what a real man (be it as a son, lover, husband, friend, son-in-law, brother) should be like...don't want to lose him! He is a delight to watch.

@5cents...love ur synopsis! Like you I returned to BV after a break when Sid was introduced...it had become a drag in b/w with the JaGa thing going round & round in circles! He came like a breath of fresh air not only in Anandi's life but in tele land & ours too...& while he does his job sincerely I will not give up on him!

Aparna, I agree with you. Siddharth did a very good job. Yesterday was one of his best performances, another one which stuck to my mind was the way he tried to apologize and win back Anandi's love after he broke the engagement. I really loved the way he said "aapko andaza bhi hai aap mujhe kitni takleef de rahi hain". He has a way with dialogues and his eyes...

I will continue to watch Balika Vadhu just for him and his acting if nothing else...

Thanks for starting this thread I alaways loved Sid from the day of his entry but yesterday he proved his capabilities that alone he can carry off whole episodes Congrats Sid Great going.

aparnauma, the day the news of Prats leaving came, i was so shocked and mad that i also thought the same as those who want him to leave the show. But after calming down, i see things different. I also rememberd that in fact i watch BV because of him. I loved their couple & will have problems accepting toral as his co-star in the begining. But well the show has to go on and as long as Sid is there, i ll watch it. And as a big fan of Siddhart, i would love to see him on the top. And most of all, he does a wonderfull job.So i want him to stay till the end of BV.

Am saying this, in response to the post in red. Try & make them see your POV.

Mahi falling in love with a dry strict girl
Saanchi falling for a super traditional guy
And then of course jagya gaurs redemption together.

If they go back to jagya Ganga romance after new anandi that will truly kill this show for me. So keeping my figures crossed and looking forward to some good tracks on bv.

even i feel the same...they can show Singhs if they want but now there story have kind of come to an end so even i want BV to explore Shekhar family more...the best part of this family is that we know so much about them without any dramatic past scenes needed...they can really show a lot on this family and i think even Anandi needs to bond with this family more than she is doing right now...she should know more about Shiv's childhood story...his first crush and craziness...Shekhar family moments...i will never get bore of them...its high time they sideline Singhs and show Shekhars...show how much are they affected to get a bahu who has been brought up in a totally different environment and i think Saanchi will also soon have a story for herself because her never ending irritations towards Anandi looks weird now so maybe her i know it all behaviour will land her in trouble and that too life altering trouble
