I think this topic has been debated to death and I feel this thread could end up in a war zone and eventually getting locked (though you said nothing offensive).

I feel Pratyusha did want a change of image, this is why she did JDJ. She may have alternate plans regarding career and personal life. I think her health is also weak, considering she quit JDJ also on account of health issues.

I wish her luck in whatever she does.

I haven't bothered to read or watch her interviews so I do not judge her statements.

I strongly feel though she may have liked to stay in BV (as long as there was romance or issues) but considering that the show had been dragged for long, Anandi's married life had also been stretched a lot, as a character she had to be shown properly married, pregnant and a mother. And I feel at this age, Prats may have been quite averse to the idea of playing a mother.

Because once you get typecast on TV, you're stuck in that image. Smriti Irani was never that old but she mostly got roles of playing mom to grown up kids (actors who were of same age group as her!). Poor lady could do her age-appropriate roles only in the serials which she herself produced (Virrudh, Thodi si zameen thoda sa aasmaan).

Saakshi, Shweta, Nausheen are all not that old but thanks to playing moms and even grannies in K serials, they now get roles to play moms to grown ups or actors around same age as theirs.

I guess Prats did not want to go through same fate, so such issues, need for change of image and taxing schedules taking toll on her weak health must've led to these decisions.

But I am curious on part of the channel! If the problem had been on for months, why didn't they hunt for a replacement earlier? And why focus on creating AnSh and getting viewers attracted to the jodi? Yeh baat kuch hazam nahi hui!

I try and try and try to accept Toral as the new Anandi but it's the Mission Impossible...

Pratyusha isn't going to be back as Anandi...its her loss if she quit herself or was removed...i don't care. Its just that Toral isn't a good replacement for her. They could have done so much better! There are so many beautiful, young , talented girls out there and they chose Toral from the whole damn country

frnds even PH guys told that kya karein we had no choice pratss is 21 and she is 27 yr old so 99 pppl disliked her ,,, i don't see this show becoz i can't see anyone in place of pratts and want her to be back desperately on any show but as anandi then it will be wonders
