to uska matlab yeh hua ki Anandi 8 saal ki b.v thi aur usne bhi koi kam sahan nahin kiya hai. abhi tak ganga ke gungan gaa rahe logo ko ab yaad aa jaye ki Anandi bhi balika vadhu thi haa husa bind use marta nahin tha par usne bhi kam pareshan nahin kiya hai aur hum dadisa ko to bhool hi nahin shaktein.

kuch hud tak sahi...lot of people actually forget what she went through..how DS behaved with her... actually kafi waqt jo guzar gaya...aur phir ds changed also...but what can anbody say...if she remembered abt her past.people will say.she is only remembering her bad past not the good one😆😆

yes from her husbend side at young age there was no such prob.lekin baad me jagia ne bhi woh kasar poori ker di thi😛

coz of too much anandi bashing...cv's showed us the past😛

other than being balika vadhu ...Ganga's story reminded me of Gehna..wonder why makers overlooked it so easily...DS all regrets for Anandi forgot what she did to Gehna...i loved the little ganga..so innocent n cute

Is it also not the fault of the girl's parents? To marry them off at such an young age. Cruelty happens at any age. But a young girl who should be studying and playing is married of to be a beast of burden and bear children. I blame our entire early generation for this. If about 60 years ago parents educated their girls and sent them to earn a living, our country today will ot be so overpopulated and poor. In spite of being ruled by the Britishers we had not learned this good thing of making women independent. They could have been teachers, nurses and secretaries instead of being trained for making adhrak chai the whole day with a ghunghat and putting up with abuses. In fact girls were trained to take abuses.

I am not comparing, but i could not take it a 25 year drunk man looking for a 12 year kid for Suhaag Rat.
I think hers is a worse story physical abuse, mental abuse and with no support.
Aj ka episode dekhne ke AnSh ka romance mein bhi interest nehi lag raha hein. This is BV they introduce a new track with so much emotion, to divert people's mind.

How can Ganga's story be even compared with anandi's story?

Was anandi married to a man double her age or was she an orphan sold for money by an aunt?

Other than the balvivah, what is common between the two? Anandi lived a pampered, luxurious life. If dadisa ill-treated her, sumitra and bhairo doted on her calling her lado and treating her like a princess, even better than their own daughter Sugna.

Comparing ganga to Asha or Phuli would sound more logical.

Anandi got food, clothes and ornaments. But we cannot forget facts.

1. From day1, little Anandi was expected to fulfill the household duties. No consideration for her tender age.

2. She stopped going to school

3. Anandi was ordered not to study(even self study at home)

4. She was made to burn books..(People view text books as blessings of Saraswati Devi)

5. She was ordered to stay awake overnight to massage DS

6. She was ordered to do all work for Jagya

7. She was locked in dark room full day.

8. When Anandi ran away to Bilaria, her mom dragged her back to DS !! (Sorry, don't want to hurt anybody saying this, since character Bhago died. But still, I consider it as very huge betrayel of child's trust on her parents..Parents is the last resort of a child. Even they don't listen to her problems, where else she will go..)

9. DS threatened Anandi that she will not get any food, unless she eats from J's dirty plate.

10. DS constantly rediculed A's parents in front of her.

11. Anandi was prevented from meeting friends and playing outside

12. She was expected to dress and behave like an adult woman.. (Did DS ask Sugna to cover her head? No. Sugna used to sit with everybody for dinner..)

The list is long...

But to Anandi's luck, Bhairon protected her from the most cruel aspect of child marriage..Thanks to his intervention, she was sent to Bilaria and thus escaped teenage pregnancy. DS wanted grand child from 13 old Anandi !!

@shinya. Stop comparing gnga and anandi here. Both suffered bal vivah in a different way. Just by saying Ganga suffered more and anandi had luxiours life you r demeaning anandi character. I agree Ganga suffered more than anandi but don't make her suffering less. DS wanted anandi to sleep with jagya at 8 years old. Her only great support was bairav and sumitra. Don't say anandi got more love than suguna. DS never made suguna do all the work and stopped suguna from going to school. But she made anandi do all these things as she was the beendni of the haveli. Just bcos you don't like anandi don't bash her like that.
