Pratyusha Banerjee, who has become a household name with her splendid performance as Anandi in Colors' Balika Vadhu (Sphere Origins), is on cloud nine these days.

It is time to rejoice for the Balika Vadhu team, as according to the recent TRP report, both the show and Colors channel, have attained the no. 1 position in their respective categories.

We got in touch with Pratyusha to know about her feelings and she shared. "I am really very happy that Balika Vadhu is on the peak right now. On the whole, this is all a result of a splendid team effort."

Talking about personal life, she further stated, "Right now, I am very contented in my life for I am enjoying both my popularity and fame. Life has completely changed now and it is like a new world to me. I am changing my wardrobe every month. I am also planning to buy a new house somewhere in Lokhandwala, Mumbai."

Don't you feel insecure with the entry of Sriti Jha (Ganga)? "No, it really doesn't matter. Sriti is a great actor and even she will play important role in the show. But the fact is that Balika Vadhu is all about Anandi.

At the end of it all, I am happy that the show is doing very well."

Balika Vadhu is all about bal vivah victims. Anandi is main character so she will alwys be in center..but d show is not all about Anandi, in the four long years journy we also saw other balvivah victims stories 1st Gehna, then Sugna then Gauri nd now Ganga...i think they only twisted Pratyushas words to add some spice in d article.

its show about anandi...but you cant run it alone...bcoz ppl get easily bored with crying babies thats why sriti is introduced as new character for ppl interest...coz creatives themselves are confused...
