Born and brought up in Mumbai, Siddharth started his career in modelling and even won The Best Model Of The World 2005 held in Turkey. After doing a few commercials, Siddharth got selected as the male lead of Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. After a few more serials, Siddharth is currently playing the new lead in Colors TV's successful show Balika Vadhu.

What do you think is your best feature?
I get complimented often for my smile, I get on well with everyone and also have a good stage presence.
What do your fans say - good and bad?
Not following them too often. But they usually comment about a certain situation or something I said.
The kind of role you would love to see yourself in?
The current role on Balika was very demanding as it wasn't easy to replace Jagya. Would also love to do an action oriented role.
Three things you do for to look hot?
I am very regular with my workouts, never skip it. I have been actively involved in sports like cricket, football. I generally avoid late night and am regular with my eating habits. I've also turned vegetarian off late. I don't spend too much time on grooming, haven't even been using a comb, just use my fingers.
What makes that role interesting?
I have been trying to bring a new dimension into the serial. Very different from the actual storyline.

Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi and Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na

Favourite co-star?
Have worked with Sanjida, both she and Pratyusha are good.

Earlier directors called and said I'm acting well.

Do you have any fear or regret about the fact that you are recognized by the character you are playing?
People love my character and I'm the face they see every day. No regrets
