todays episode was quite good.. it did answer many of our questions but it also created some..

this no suhaag raat track by cvs is probably to make the show more realistic n to elongate the ansh story..

going by what was shown (rather told by anandi)--anandi really wants to move on with her life ,accept n love shiv (we never saw her try) but she is being held back by her past..

she doesnt know why but everytime when shiv tries to get close to her , her past moments with jagya crop up in her mind..

cvs have shown anandi as very realistic n not mahaan...

to every woman (even man) her first (real) love/first time is extremely special ..it even makes more sense in anandi's case.. jagya was the only guy she knew (well) she loved him more than anything on earth ...he was the only one for her..

n imagining shiv in his place has really been difficult for her..

anandi's situation reminds me of a well known movie THE NOTEBOOK.. where the female protagonist was not able to forget her first love..

anandi made a resolution to herself that she will forget all her past memories when she dumped jagya's memories in the river .. she tried her best but those memories just tend to crop up..

dont know why but chotima's words are echoing in my ears--

'yaadein hawaa ki tarah hoti hein ...'..at that point anandi dint understand the significance of the words but she would realize it now..

if for a moment we forget that anandi is mahaan n brave n etc her behaviour is completely acceptable..she tried to a do good thing ,tried to move on but has failed at the last big hurdle..

we all make resolutions n fail to stick to them...

yeah its a small mistake from this point of view..but keeping shivs life in perspective its appears a crime..even this crime did not occur by mistake or chance.. anandi had fears that she might not be able to love shiv..i sincerely want cvs to show anandi trying ..rather than showing how great n understanding shiv is..her first step could be --always try n address shiv by his name

i think cvs missed some points-

if anandi actually had no feelings for jagya at present ...then her memories of her intimate moment with jagya should disgust her (bcoz they r blocking her future) ..but instead she is shown a bit disguted at shiv's advances..

another point is the voiceover

in a second marriage situation is the husband solely responsible for making the marriage work..

wife has equal responsibility in getting over her past/past memories n trying to love her new husband..

did ne1 else notice that shiv was a bit disgusted when anandi told that her mother would be most happy..(or was it just me imagining) y does anandi have to remind shiv that she married him only bcoz of her promise..i know her motive was different but she (i.e cvs) must be careful

Sorry Jack, Anandi is far from realistic.

After the kick that she got on her a** from jagya, no woman with self-respect would ever cling on to his memories.

i thought i would write this in the post but thought it would become too long..

the only way to explain would be-

anandi probably has subconsiously divided jagdish into two parts- one she loved n the other one who betrayed her .. the fact that she is not frustrated by her memories of their intimate times shows that she is not completely over the good jagdish.. shiv has not been able to take the place the old jagdish had in her heart (rather she has not been able to give shiv that place in her heart)

i know i really sound weird..

second would be the real one:

no wonder how much we try memories always somehow crop up ..she has no control over these..

but if this were true she should be disgusted at those memories (but she is not)..

again there is a problem -if it were just the memories y is she cringing to shivs touch// behaving so scared

I agree with you. How can she think of him with so much love. I can understand not wanting to be intimate due to newness of their relationship but Today choti maa, saanchi, those ladies at kesar Bagh at wedding were all proved to be correct. I think cvs in their passion for trps have missed the mark completely and have done huge disservice to all divorce and widows trying to move on in life.

I could not help myself replying here - as soon Jagiya started showing slightest signs of positive attitude by serving in the hospital, caring for her and then cured Nandu - she was ready to forgive him. Even when Jagiya was exposed of doing amnesia drama in front of everyone - she was ready to forgive him - did not she remember how Jagiya tried to touch her all the time during her illness? She did not mind forgiving him even after doing such harkats - she was so eager to forgive him. The same Anandi told Jagiya in the mandir earlier that no matter what you do, the family will never forgive him - yet she volunteered to forgive him first.

Then she repeatedly told Jagiya (at least twice) how she has forgiven him and she has no complains about him, so basically all bad memories with Jagiya got blissfully faded (if not erased) and only good memories with Jagiya remained in her head...

She married Shiv to obey her mother's wish, to get close to Shiv, she will probably need Dadisa's wish to see parpota...

agree with u jack0007 on some points. Anandi should get disgusted with Jagya's memories for all the wrong he has done to her. It's so unreal. What was all the throwing all memories in pond and "shiv aap himalaya ke jaise mere aur mere past ke beech khade hain". If she had fear of rejection that makes sense but Jagya's memories is ridiculous.

ya yesterday episode is very good .ansh share their feeling honestly .anandi says i want to forget my past but i cant that means she is trying to forget her past especially sr but she cant .i believe anandi and shiv did not spend much time together before marriage so they r not able to express their feeling fully .now they will get more time to share their feeling more they share their feeling and spend time together anandi fear past autatimacally vanish and she will fall in love with shiv automatically

i dont think anandi remembered jagyas memories fondly...she looked pained n hurt even scared by jagyas memories
n wen shiv hugged her she was not disgusted with him she was disgusted with herself for her inability to return his passion...still getting fbs inspite of throwing jagya out of her life...she even told shiv tht she is angry with herself for still getting jagyas fbs
as for shiv's look he was not disgusted he just wanted to hear anandi saying i m haapy after getting married to u
cvs has brought this angle to prolong their track...n slowly anandi will be completely over jagya

At TM,

Agree with you on the last 3 points that you have highlighted as mistake from CV.

Yes whatever A's past may have been, she chose to move on with Shiv, so she needs to justice to him and his family.

She cannot do justice if she does not take efforts. It's high time now she starts taking efforts and interest in Shiv. Even if it is tiny bits like making his fav dish, or spending time, crack jokes, give gifts etc. Then only she will start developing the type of liking for him which is nedeed in this relationship. And then gradually she can feel intimate about him.

Yes it's time Shiv stops proving how understanding he is and let A prove, how much she admires this relationship. I am hopeful that CVs will show us that soon.
