The rishta she had with J as a pati is mostly based on that after she came of age.
though they were sort of friends when they were children., she did not experience any other emotion like what she does with Shiv i.e., respect., friendship., trust etc.,
As soon as she came after growing big., they became close., consummated., and then he left her...
So., even though she loved J a LOT at that time., may be she could relate the physical aspect only with him...
and he btrayed her. ...which shattered her confidence as a woman.
and now., to reciprocate her feelings in the same way towards another man., it does become quite difficult...but her sense of duty is coming in the way of fear...
Once that fear is overshadowed by her Love., then there will be balance / equilibrium to her mind...
