Jagya had just come and confessed his doings to the CBI officer. After hearing his confession Shiv's name had been immediately cleared.
CBI Officer: We are sorry sir. Humaray wajay se aapko raat puri hirasat main guzarni padi .
Shiv: Aap apni job ker rahe thay officer. Its ok.
CBI: Le chalo inhay
He said pointing to the Police Inspector and gesturing towards Jagya.
Jagya slowly wiped out a tear and walked away with the police.
Anandi looked at Sumitra and saw that she was profusely crying.
Anandi: Ma.. aap royiye math
She said softly.
No one could understand the pain Sumitra was going through. She was already in much pain with the very thought of losing Anandi. It was not that she did not want her lado to be happy, but she was never mentally prepared to let go of Anandi. That topped with the days outcome where her son had once again insulted her upbringing.
Mat ro Sumitra! said Bhairav
He looked towards his son for the first time in many years with sympathy.
Sumitra then turned and her eyes met the eyes of Irawati.
She walked towards her. Her heart filled with guilt and face reflecting shame.
'Humain maaf ker dijiye' she said finally in a choked voice.
'Ye aap kya ker rahi hai' said Ira immediately putting her hands on top of the pleading hands of Sumitra.
'Humari wajay sey Shiv ko ithni zillath sehni padi' she continued
'Nahi nahi Sumitra ji. Dekhiye abh sabh kuch teekh ho gaya hai na.' She said consoling the grieving mother.
Shiv went up to Sumitra and held her hands.
Sumitra slowly looked up into his eyes and then looked away.
'Ma' he said
Her heart must have skipped a beating, thought Sumitra. She looked up at the kind eyes of Shiv. It was filled with love that she often yearned for but hadn't seen in many years.
'Aapko kisi bhi cheez ke liye sharmindagi mahsoos nahi kerni chahiye' he said softly.
Anandi who was standing besides Sumitra looked up teary eyed at Shiv.
'Sabh kuch teekh ho gaya hai aur main puri koshih karunga ki Jagdeesh ko jald sey jald rihaasat sey bahar nikalun'
Sumitra's eyes forced out few more tear drops.
Shiv then wiped her tears away.
Sumitra slowly smiled at him and then looked at Anandi
'Abh ghar chalna chahiye. Shadi ka ghar hai … bohot kaam pada hai' She said smiling towards Anandi.
Anandi smiled at Sumitra and then looked at Shiv. Her heart filled with immense pleasure and great sense of gratitude towards her future husband.
Shiv then longingly looked towards Anandi. It had just dawned upon him that they are going to get married and that too in few days!.
It was a tough time for him but Anandi had stood besides him like a strong pillar. She was there for him at perhaps the worst time of his life. His heart ached to hold her, to hug her or at least touch her. Even taking her hands into his would be enough , he thought hungrily.
His eyes automatically searched for dadisa.
She was looking shrewdly at him and her face broke into a smile.
"Main janu hun shiv beta. Aur jab zaroorat thi aa gayi na tharay paas' She said smiling
'Lekin abh aur na. Abh tho shadi tak intezaar kerna padega tharay ko' she said in an explanatory manner
Anandi looked down and blushed a little but then she glanced towards Shiv. Shiv looked at her and saw for the first time that she too wanted to break traditions and be with him.
The Shekars decided that it was time for them to go and Singhs followed the lead.
The entire family walked and right behind them were Shiv Anandi who were walking side by side. Taking smaller steps. They reached their respective jeeps and after a quick final glance at each other they headed towards their separate destinations.
