@Rohini? - do we know each other with ur old id? Anyhu to answer ur question. I hoped DS wud bhagao Pendu, but this was a possibility. Kyun? He is still her pota. Aisa hi hota. A child is a child even when he is a disappointment.
Sumi shut down her computer because though she was very happy for her daughter, she realizes what her son has lost today. DS is in same boat. She wants Anandi's happiness and believes that is Shiv. But, J came and left without a word...that pains the grandmother. Even Bhairon was not unaffected. He was angry and dismissive, but that anger is just cover for his pain. The Singhs are still mourning Jugya's absence. He can never ever again be Anandi's bheend, but he is still and always will be their son.
We leave in a modern enough world with complex rishtas...its easy to be confused. The fact that they love Anandi and want her to move forward need not be tied together with their desire to have Jagdeesh someday truly repent and return home.
You are making the mistake J is and that the CVs want/expect you to make...because otherwise why will you tune in to their drama? Anandi is a part of Singh parivaar but, she is not Singh Parivar. J can return to the Singhs but, after today Anandi will be Shiv's.
Story ahead - I don't know what jhatkas, shocks, and surprises are ahead... even the CVs may not know. Writers rarely know exactly what the characters will do... it gets even more complicated when you involve bizness, actor availability, trps, etc. But, there are some fundamentals that are hard to change:
1. The CVs have categorically stated that remarriage is happening in BV and that plan is garnering immense trps for them to change course;
2. Shiv's character graph has gone from strength to strength and they have invested signficant capital in him. Giving him a jeep, an office, a PA, a jhakas entry, a house, and now an entire family. If JaAn reunion was going to happen then Shivraj Shekhar would have been mediocre and his family minimal. Remember the Education Ministry dude and that chuha who kidnapped Anandi? There is no parallel between them and Shiv nor between J and S. They may both be leads, but S is the PROTAGONIST and J the clear ANTAGONIST. The Antagonist never gets the Girl.
3. Then there is BV ka moral messaging...forgiveness is an acceptible message, so Singhs and even A may forgive J. But, JaAn reunion would be promotion of bal vivah , which is not what they want to depict. That said...AnSh ki journey won't be easy breezy cuz where would be the drama in that... nor would that be realistic... the few divorcees I know within the Indian diaspora never found it easy to move on.
4. Lastly, the BV creatives have themselves made JaAn reunion impossible. Forget DS ka wishes. Anandi herself is intent on Bhago ka wish, which was Shiv not Jugya. Khajan blames J for Bhago's death and has embraced Shiv. Bhairon is too strong to bend to any pressure even from DS should she change her mind. And on what basis can DS change her mind? She knows her pota is khota seekha and Shiv is a heera. A Collector who gives of himself to others and is in love with Anandi vs. a jobless selfish cheat? HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Then there is G's second pregnancy and the fact that Anandi has unequivally stated that to J that she would not want him to do to G what he did to her.
I hope this sets your mind at ease.
