Wish BV never loses its rural flavour . That is the charm of the show and it actually led to so many soaps being started on Indian telly based on villages 3-4 yrs back. But they cud never match this show in terms of storyline and characterization.

Shiv's family is modern . They needed to be introduced as they are Anandi's in-laws. But they should be shown when necessary going forward. They wud be more relevant to the storyline AFTER Anandi starts staying with them.

There are modern families shown in evry 2nd show on any channel . Why wud one watch BV then?

What beats me is Shiv family's army and civil services background. The father and grandfather are both from the army. And because army officers are posted around the country and meet with people from diverse backgrounds, they evolve naturally to be broadminded -- not in the drniking, partying sense but in the socio-cultural, syncretic sense. Add to this the army's famed discipline and it becomes even more difficut to place and understand sanchi.

The CVs need to work harder on the detailing. They need to find out how people from army and civil services behave . The Circuit House is too well appointed. Where are the security guards and

where is the large staff usually at the bck and call of the collector? And you cant send the private secretary to buy veggies.Also they keep saying collector as if it is some title. It would have been far more realistic if Shiv sister had said you are a civil servant who will soon get to posted to govt. ministries and perhaps later to Delhi, how will a rural girl cope with the challeneges of your job. Instead she keeps saying, you are a collector. Collector of stamps?
