I know right! I give him tremendous accolades, because only a very strong man could portray such a character without letting it ruin or depress him. Like you said just making him the villain is waste of his talents. To me it seems like the CVs don't really know what to do with him, they don't want to make him positive or happy because it would seem "unfair", so all poor Shasank is left to do is be a punching bag for everyone else. I want that Jagya realizes his mistakes, apologizes, and then focuses on himself and making something of himself, maybe one day him and Anandi could become good friends again. CVs please give Shashank something more substantial then just being a punching bag for everyone and Gauri's Gulam.
There is a God and a satan in all of us. What we become ,is what importance we give to either of these.
Jagya has chosen to give importance to the satan in him. But, I still see there is flicker of humanity still left in him,though that is always ruthlessly suppressed. Sometimes by Gauri and sometimes by himself.
I have never seen him doing introspection as to why things went so horribly wrong with him. I wonder if he even realizes that things are going out of his hand.He chose to marry Gauri. Naturally he must have thought of a happy conjugal life later on. Yet,today he stands at cross roads,not knowing what to do. His relationship with Gauri is also not very smooth.
As long as he does not have a self realization about what wrongs he committed , it is not possible for him to redeem himself.
As per Shashank, he has done full justice to this character.
Later on, I wish him to be very good in his profession and earn a better name than Gauri. He should have a better control over his thinking capacity and should not be led by others all the time. I want him to be a man with spine. That can happen once he finishes his studies and gets into a good hospital with his own merit and not through Gauri's recommendation. That will give a boost to his confidence. A glimpse of what all he can achieve as a doctor ,we have already seen in the delivery scene(though it was hilarious to a certain extent). Professionally he can excel, he has it in him.
And that way,Shashank also will have a very good chance to take himself to another level. So far he has done an excellent job and I wish,he does better than what he has already done. Merely asking him to play second fiddle will not go down well with many of us. I may not agree with what all Jagya has done so far,but, I would love to see Shashank excelling further in a more powerful twist to his role.
