Also, yeh thread dekhkar yaad aaya... I believe you had another OS... the one where Shiv gives Gauri a lift and then throws her out because she says nasty things about Anandi? Do update that one soon too... I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Gauri getting her comeuppance 😳

Part -2

Shiv came down hearing the voices and daadisa and Bhairon. They seemed very excited and looked to see if Anandi was around. Shiv told them she was sleeping and how he had forced her to sleep. Daadisa smiled and told him "Accha kiyo. Varna chori rukthi nahin jab tak saara kaam khatam na ho jave." (You did good. Else the girl would not have stopped until she finished all the work). Daadisa turned to Bhairon and told him "Kya hum Shiv ko mehamaanon se mila dein?" (Should we allow Shiv to meet the guests?). Bhairon smiled and said "Haan bilkul" (Definitely). Shiv looked to see who had come and could not believe his eyes. His mom and dad stood on the doorstep grinning widely. Shiv ran and embraced his parents. Then he asked them "Maine toh socha tha aap log agle mahine aane waale hain (I thought you were going to come next month)". His father laughed and said "Haan humne bhi yahin socha tha lekin maaji ne pichle hafte phone karke humein nimantrit kiya aur him na nahin kar sake. Waise bhi tumhari maa ko tumhari haath ki chai ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi. So hum aa gaye. Kaisa laga surprise?" (Yeah we thought the same thing too but maaji called last week and invited us to come and we could not refuse. As it were your mother was missing the tea you make. How did you like the surprise?)

Shiv who was hugging his mom said "Wonderful. I am so happy that you are both here.". His parents asked about Anandi and he informed them about her being asleep. His mother was concerned about her health and Shiv told them that she had a hectic day yesterday and they had also gone to bed late. His mother scolded him for keeping Anandi up late, telling him to take care of her. Shiv felt his guilt return.

Daadisa told everyone "Chalo hum sab mooh haat dho lethe hain. Aap thak kea aye honge safar se. Phir garma garam chai piyenge saath mein baitke." (Lets all freshen up. You have come from a long journey. Then we will all sit and drink tea together.) Shiv's mom agreed and his parents went upstairs with Bhairon showing them the way. Daadisa turned around to leave and told Shiv on her way out "Shiv beta zara Gehna se keh dena ki hum sab ke liye chai nasta bana de" (Shiv please tell Gehna to prepare some tea and snacks for all of us". Bhairon called her from upstairs and she left. Shiv did not even get the chance to tell her that Gehna had gone out. There was no way he was waking his darling wife up, so he shrugged and entered the kitchen, found a vessel and set about making tea. Luckily he had hung around the kitchen just long enough to know where the supplies for making tea were kept on their last visit here.

He remembered how he had troubled Anandi while she made tea for Daadisa. He laughed as he remembered how he tried putting his arms around her and she kept pushing him away. He was trying to tickle her while she looked for snacks in the kitchen. Finally she pushed him away and started yelling at him and pushed him out of the kitchen. Daadisa had come to Anandi's rescue telling Shiv that he should not enter the kitchen. Shiv had acceded so as to not hurt Daadisa's feelings.

Shiv came out of his reverie to see the boiling tea and added the milk. Then he left it to boil again and went to the same area where he had seen Anandi get the snacks from. He located the snacks and set them all in a tray and took them to the living room. By the time he came back the tea had boiled, so he poured it into cups and just as he set it down, his parents arrived. He sat down and told them to get started. They wanted to wait for daadisa but daadisa heard them and told them to start by the time she got there. His mom took a sip of tea and smiled. His dad took a sip and said "Dekha aate hi tumhare bte ne tumhari khwahish poori kar di. Chalo agli train se wapas chalthe hain." 😆 (Your son has fulfilled your wish as soon as we got here. Lets go back on the next train.) Shiv's mother playfully hit his dad and said "Aap ko jaana hai to jayiye. Main toh kuch din rahungi apni bte aur bahu ke saath." (You can go if you want. I will stay here for some time with my son and daughter-in-law). Daadisa arrived in the mean time and and sipped the tea. She said "Ye toh bahut swadisth banayo hai. Yeh Gehna ki haath ki chai nahi hai. Main uski haath ki chai pehchanoo. Kis ne banaya hai ye? Abhi Gehna se poochthi hoon. Gehna are o gehna" (This tea is very tasty but it is not made by Gehna. I recognize the taste of her tea. Who made this. Let me ask her ' Gehna are o Gehna).

Shiv told daadisa "Je Taiji ghar pe nahin hai. woh nandu ke school se phone aaya tha. Wahan gaye hain." (Tayiji is not at home. There was a call from Nandu's school and she had to go there." Phir ye chai kaun banayo?" Daadisa asked. Shiv did not want to upset her and so he remained mum. Daadisa looked at Shiv's mother and said "Samdhansa kahin aap ne tho? " Shiv's mother told her "Bilkul nahin. Main bhi abhi abhi aayi hoon. Ye chai toh..." (Of course not. I have also just come. This tea was ...). She trailed off because she saw Anandi coming out of her room.
