If shiv was gauri's cousin, then she might have recognized him when he was on tv with anandi. So i dont think she is related to shiv in any way.

I definitely don't want Shiv to be related to Gauri in anyway. I want her to be jealous of what Anandi has (Shiv). It would just be better if Shiv wasn't related to anyone. It would make the story more interesting.

That is not possible because Gauri already saw Shiv on TV so she would have recognized him he was Gauri's cousin..

If Shiv was closely related to Bade Papa, then I'm sure Gauri would have known him since she was close to Bade Papa. Hence I agree that she would have recognized Shiv on TV, or at least would've recognized his name.
