Ok, today I can not stop myself from analyzing the last part
How insensitive, selfish and wrong a person can be?
Jagya comes back and Gauri does Arti…as if he has won a battle. Really…the guy has come back after severing old ties not only with his wife but family too.
Also, wow, she was so happy. All smiling when she asks "How was Jaipur…how did everyone react" - her husband went to Jaipur for a divorce not for getting an award.
Clearly, she was more interested in gloating hearing about pain for Singh family. What has Anandi done to you personally that you are more worried about her pain than your husband – "Uske toh chere ki hawaiyan hi ud gayi hongi" Really, is she driving sadistic pleasure from her and Singh family's tears.
She was least bothered how his parents must have felt. How Jagya may have felt. She thought it was a win to loose his family?
Even after all this, Anandi wished him all the best. He thought about it but I had really wanted Jagat to mention it to Gauri.
"Sab thik se hogaya na" – She is only worried about divorce and it sounded so fake when finally she says after smiling at looking at the papers– "I understand your pain". God I was literally laughing.
And now the part which shows how different people look at same situation and react based on their moral fabric.
He tells her the whole story. We all know how weak is Jagya's moral fabric and so he says things which clearly show that he is so proud that he has no worth for a vegetable seller. He accepts his family took him out of misery but instead of saying thanks he berates them. What did he expect? He has no right to even call them his family.
But what surprised me was Gauri's reaction – "Ajeeb Aadmi hai….kaunis dushmani nikal raha hai." Instead of correcting him or telling him that he was just doing his duty, she is bad mouthing Shiv. If she really cared, she would have asked him not to drink. If she had any compassion, she would have said, what was need for him to come in between and also you should not have raised hand against the vegetable seller. Anandi / Sumitra always showed him the right path and Gauri is literally pushing him down the wrong road by just supporting his wrong doing.
And then selfish Jagat at his best. His fake ego and pride. Instead of divorce, he is more pained by the trouble he faced in jail. "Kaise bhul jaoon". He is nothing but leave alone vegetable seller he has no value for a collector (who is usually an IAS officer). "…..a nikamma doctor is referring to a high post govt officer as "Woh jetsar ka collector""
Finally "bade papa". He has guts to call his illegal sasural and ask for help and doesn't care about his impression. Gauri is more worried about her truth coming out. Jagya thinks his family did not respect him enough. He has no realization of how ashamed they must have felt in front of "woh jetsar ka collector". Moreover what does he expect? After the way he behaved with them, they will do his arti like Gauri did when he came….
Sorry guys but had to vent it out. It was just so vengeful and wrong and I just hope CVs show a proper punishment for these two which includes proper repentance.
