Am also tired of "forced" marriage concept...even if its BV way. But, I guess its hard to show Collector - Sarpanch is romance khulle aam in gaon ki setting. Waise bhi Shiv is desiboy, so he wants arranged marriage... hope the sofa at Circuit House is large enuff to fit him!
