Jagya needed some reassurance
From Gauri none was forthcoming
So he figured he would get some from his father
after all what is the harm in calling?

The phone call to his father went badly
His reception was really really frosty
What could Jugs do than drown his sorrows in alcohol
He felt he was unwanted after all.

Gauri was too busy chatting with the designer
So Jugs got busy too ordering drinks from the waiter
Then in his drunken state he collided with the vegetable vendor
Then got into a fight and got thrown in jail by the collector. 😆 😆 😆

The news is Jugs will now spend the night in jail
Now the question is who will come to post his bail?
Will he keep his mouth shut or wag his furry tail?
The good news is he will make it to the divorce without fail 😆

liv2laugh, you are amazing! I think Jagya wanted some connection with his family, so he called Bhairon. He has been thinking about his family a lot, it is killing him inside to sign off the one single thing holding him to them through Anandi, so I think he wanted some connection, and was taken aback at Bhairon's behavior. As usual Jagya never blames himself.

But why not call dadisa for the connection? wouldnt that be more sensible if he wants a connection?

Jagya really misses his family very much...and yesterday he was all alone...Gauri madam didn't have time to even talk to him..so felt the need to connect to someone close.

But what is sad (& idiotic & funny) is that he chose Bhairon!!!! Bhairon is a man of strong principles & value system. Even when Jagya was a kid, he never pampered Jagya like others did...Bhairon was the sole disciplining force in the life of an extremely pampered & highly indulged Jagya.

And Jagya doesn't seem to have forgotten the authority of his father...if you notice, Bhairon is the only one, Jagya never back answers..forget being rude, Jagya even lowers his gaze while talking to Bhairon. While talking to Dadisa, Basant or Sumitra also Jagya may not be rude, but confidently puts his point across. But when it comes to talking to Bhairon, Jagya loses his nerve...he cannot meet his father's eyes...part of it is guilt which Bhairon manages to induce (coz Bhairon never minces words) and part I think is fear. It is a conditioned response right from childhood. He has sufficient memory of his childhood to know that if Bhairon's wrath descends on him, even Dadisa cannot stop it!!!!

Jagya respects bhairon and wants his approval... he knows he has been in the wrong and is waiting for bhairon to forgive him before he can forgive himself.

He loves the others in his family but doesnt respect them because he knows deep down inside that they cover up his wrongs ... after a while, when we mature, we realize that those people have actually done us a dis-service by covering up for us ... our conscience kicks in.

That is why he is JUGHEAD!!!! Assuming that in some point i time, Jagya might truely repent for his deeds & improves...his relationship with Bhairon is spoilt for life!

Dadisa might forgive her laadesar, Sumitra might cave in to her mamta & accept her raj dulara, Anandi might forgive him so that he can be accepted by the family...but not bhairon! The whole world might forgive Jagya, but Bhairon will not!

😆but i dont just mean why did he call bhairon?

I mean how come he called him when the last interaction with bhairon was the blackmail incident ... and he has not even called bhairon after that to offer a meaningful apology ... so suddenly to call and say "hey what's up?" casually seems a little odd. 😆

His calling bhairon would have been okay if they just had their usual strained relations... but to call him after the blackmailing incident seemed a little too much for me.
