Anandi also had to put an end to her education for the sake of a family member.

That time it was Dadisa's health. She had a heart problem and asked Anandi to burn all her books and she had to do it for her sake. Even with a valid reason, she was ridiculed and degraded by her spouse.

Jagya couldn't finish his MS for badi masiji. Even though he has a valid reason to go home, it is not understood and respected by Gauri. Even though she's not as mean as Jagya was to Anandi, he is still facing his consequences.

i think gauri is not nearly as mean to jagiya as jagiya was to anandi. gauri is not trying to make jagiya feel inferior , if he is thats becuase of his own mental make up which is not very logical due to male ego.

also gauri had tried to save jaggi's career by going to warn him , jaggi never encouraged anandi at all.

from her perspective gauri is right ... going to jaitsar in that critical moment did ruin his career.

then after returning he was just dbarred which meant he cud appear now in next session ... he instead of going to the dean and requesting him to give himself one more chance , faught with him! resulting in the dean throing him out.

if he has indeed screwed his career for badi masi by thinkign him being at her side was more important than his exams, why this frustration now? he shudnt have this and mind whatever position he is getting. he is simply trying to make gauri his punch bag liek he did anandi.

another important point is doctor especially a post graduate student cant just get up and disappear. he has to inform his superiors in writing so that they can arrange for another doctor to fill in his place. he did nto bother to inform hsi superiors on phone forget submitting an applicaion! he expected gauri to handle it for him!! how stupid is tat ... medical college hai koi tumhare ghar ki dukaan hai ki jab chah uthe aur chale gaye.
