Arrey obviously woh to hai hi yr...keeping aside the scientifuc reasoning I simply loved that scene.😳😳 But stillsometimes u become too argumentative to prove ur point...thats the disadvantage of forums...rly sorry if i hurt anyone's sentiments...was just trying to justify my point.

u r right princess...no soil is pure... and soil is the commonest reservoir for clostri. tetani...when anandi was applying it i screamed...no anandi he will tetanus...plsss shiv take a tetanus injection...but he fears of injection😆
if the wound is deep and the bacteria gets a good anaerobic enviornment..then tetanus is possibleU are 100% medically correct..may be in ayurveda this is is right...

dear there is difference between plant soil and road side ...soil have different types and have different element in them road side soil is not useful always to plant .. there is need for plant different kind of soil so same way there is difference.. soil have different part of layers colors chemicals and other physical characteristic involved.. this is difference between plant soil and roadside.. because we normally use soil our plants is more natural and pure. each oil have own personality just like we human have.. and in Ayurveda there is reference of from old types people use to medication .

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/Profile.aspx?pid=541

Read the sixth last point...

Ensure tetanus jabs are up to date. Otherwise, see your local GP for a tetanus vaccination if you have cut yourself on a plant or got soil or manure in an open wound.

Open wounds was also mentioned in that article..apparantly some soils do have that power...but nowadays too much pollution everywhere, hence using soil on wounds might cause harm...but we can give the creatives benefit of doubt by considering that Anandi was using pure soil from a plant pot😆...the point you mentioned is true in the context if you get cut on some random plant or fall on road...its not for every soil i think Tongue

actually the main problem is that we indians have forgotten that before elopathy came to our country we also used to live, fight ailment and live lives in a much healthier way than we do now. When Baba ramdev came into limelight also the mbbs,ms doctors feared what will happen to their profession if people start getting cured by doing pranayam, yoga and taking natural medicines at Rs 30-40Rs(This is the rate of medicine at his ayurvedic centre.surprised?).Therefore they started giving interviews on tv making fun of these ancient recipes of healthy living.I dont have to go far away but will tell you what happened in my own house. My mother had severe problem of fatty liver and pancreas and used to yell with pain and the doctor gave her a list of tests(to fill his pocket ofcourse) and then 6-7 medicines all of which together cudnt do much to my mom. Then she went to Patanjali aarogya centre had a check up with the free doctor there who gave medicines costing next to nothing, gave her asanas to do and asked her to take GO-ARKA(distilled cow urine).my mom for two months took all but not GO-ARK.when she cudnt tolerate the pain one day she decided to drink it and is been drinking this medicine till date and the ailment is almost gone.So now tell me.which is better?

As far as soil is concerned I saw in Jhansi ki Raani serial also that Tantia Tope put soil on his bullet wound.Soil has very unique properties and can be definitely used to cure a lot of diseases provided u trust ur own country''s therapy and do not go to the doctor at the drop of a hat.

elopathy can only score over ayurved when it comes to emergency like somebody dying in road accident etc or heart attack etc...The difference between the both is that elopathic medicines are a temporary cure and in long run ruins ur body but saves you when you are dying whereas ayurved helps you maintain a healthy body in such a way that u do not stand much chances of having a heart attack

Trust the nature friends...trust the mother earth...

Reading all the povs I can just say guys that I agree all of u may be correct.I put my point forth bcoz I had the scientific logic in my mind. But yeaa if the ayurvedic doctors use it then i am sure it is a good option. And is treatment ki wajah se Anandi touched shiv once again...for the fourth time😍😆 So we can leave the debate.

Thnxx for enlightening me guys bcoz being a delhiite and a typical city goer u really have lil knowledge abt these things.

Soil has been used to stop bleeding since ancient ages...I remember when I was a kid some neighbours used to apply to wounds to stop bleeding...then later on they used to get it dressed and took tetnus injection as well.
Anandi applied soil to stop bleeding...i am sure later on Shiv would take proper treatment for his wound...Btw I was expecting tht she would tear her dupatta and tie it on his arm...tht would have been more romantic😉
